I would still get a maxx over a maxx slash. Just not a fan of the slash.

what length is that strap i need one for my sledge... i love the garage life rc 300mm lipo straps best on the market i have them in like 5 rigs now and still need more with all the new cars on the channel

My theory is the left it slack and bouncing on the ground so it wouldnt roll so easily. I tightened mine up it rolled over to easy loosened it back the way it came it did better. In the end with the shocks tighter and a new servo saver that actually holds the tires that changed it. The marketing for this was dumb skate park bashing a truck that has 1 inch of travel its bizarre. The back end is to fast when your driving fast the back end will try to launch over the front. My last order with you I asked for a sticker to put on my bench to advertise for you when I film I never heard back do you have any?

I think the only truck that really captures the Baja Truck feel is the Losi SBR. Even the smaller version of the Rey is just not heavy enough to really see the unique suspension behavior without a bit of slow mo footage. But at the SBR scale, it finally all comes together. Course it's a thousand dollar truck, so probably only worth it if you are a nut for desert trucks. Most SCTs are just buggies that got extended a bit and had a big body put on top, seems to me.

A 1/10th scale slash drives better out of the box and performs a lot like a real short course truck. Infact Traxxas sponsored race teams and you could get a slash that looked just like real deal. Very slick marketing. and the maxx slash is too heavy and doesn't have nearly enough suspension travel to deal with it.

Well that confirms it, I aint bashing mine hard enough! LOL I only have a dozen batteries through it so far and have never hit thermal on it despite fully expecting to. My Slash I thermal all the time and maybe once on the Maxx but never yet on the Maxx Slash. Guess i better send it harder! Great video, really enjoyed it!

I don't know how traxxas could know how tight you want your springs. How traxxas wants you to drive your truck makes no sense.

Hmmm, I beat mine like it owed me money, then got it ran over by a car and it still drove just fine in my video. I wonder what the difference was. Sometimes something gentles cause breaks, then something awful doesn't. Odd how it works out sometimes.

The front wheels don’t hold the turn when turning. They’ll kick back the opposite way briefly. Causing the truck to become unstable and flip if you’re not driving on anything that isn’t very loose. I’m not sure if it’s the servo saver or the servo. I’m swapping out my servo to 35kg one. The factory one is an 8kg servo. My scx24 has a stronger servo than this 1/8 truck. The tsm goes bananas because the servo can’t hold the wheels in a turn. I had to redo all the shocks, oil and spring replacement. And replace the servo just to get it to turn decent and not constantly roll over. You also need a cooler and fan on the motor. Runs pretty toasty and will thermal
