Cool video all the rc shops in San Diego do not carry much nitro parts or cars trucks nothing all electric kits here plenty but ask guys here about nitro and you get that blank stair then oh wow nitro there complicated the e word is the way to go! I like both more so nitro right nowadays

5274r is the traxxas backplate. You might have to grind the crank just a little where to rod goes on(that the starter shaft catches on to spin the motor over). Can’t remember tho.

Do you have the rebuild video? Also do you know how to reset the remote control transmitter. I turned mine on and I hear a buzzing noise coming from the r/c.

Hey Mark glad to see your starting on the 4 Tec project, that's a nice pile of parts you have there. Awhile back I was able to get the 4 Tec bodies on ebay. I painted one orange the other blue. Do you have a link for that servo checker? Thank you!

The 4Tec was ok i remember having one when they first came out for such a fast car the gears should of been better than plastic, the differential box is common going loose, also the electric start sucked i changed mine to pull start, the shocked were weak, chassis braking was common. Traxxas never took responsibility for bad design that’s why traxxas sucks. For 500 bucks you can get better RC.
