Looks great and all but I learned my lesson. I spent stupid amounts of money on my TRX-4 Bronco mainly scale accessories. Even dug up a old Losi Mini Crawler and went crazy replacing every single piece of plastic. Now both weight a ton w/ crap performance. Always just one scratch away from ruining the "awe.." when admiring. Lastly, resale will take you 6 months to find one guy willing to pay you 50 cents on the dollar.
@@noeysfastrc3291 Me neither.. I am o l d and have rc stuff from planes/helis/boats/subs/tanks/rockets/cars/ and now trucks and crawlers. I give them away, even gave a hobby store $500 in quadcopter parts rather than sell a a huge loss.
Nice bro, love the UDR and keep on making videos on the UDR and other things and one day you might get 1 million subscribers if you don’t give up so don’t give up. You can do this
I ordered all of these, plus a few other components to replace .. I'm pretty new to the hobby, but mechanically inclined... how much time do you think I'll need to do all of this? Plus I'm going to a beaded tire.. ? Think I'll need some assistance or can I do it on my own? Would you be willing to connect via phone or email and give me some assistance if I need it? You don't live in Northern California by chance?
Hey thanks for watching. I think you will be fine. You shouldn’t have any issues everything is straight forward. Time it will take a couple of hours to install all of the upgrades. The most time consuming were the anti-sway bars but even then it was easy enough. Sorry I don’t live in California, I live in Texas.
@@noeysfastrc3291 wow man, I hope I can knock all of that out in a couple of hours... my biggest fear is forgetting how to reassemble it, this is why your video is useful,... please make more videos of how to remove and replace parts. I love em... I also am not sure in what order to replace parts, or just do it all at once when they arrive.. (everything is on back order now anyway for at least a month)
Dude you are awesome!!! Really nice upgrade video!!! Would be nice if Traxxas UDR trucks came stocked with these upgrades. But I get it.....it’s cheaper to build them with plastic. So now you’ve got to show us how well it runs with the new upgrades! Please make a video of that soon! 😉
Did you notice when doing the adjustable toe linkages with GPM parts you lose 5+mm of suspension travel due to the GPM spherical joints having considerably less travel than the Traxxas ones not allowing the arms to get full droop. Seems the same with most GPM parts.
