I was there messing with my mini revo vxl in the the school parking lot. Just got rid of it and thinking about getting the rustler vxl

the rustler has to be one of my favorites, I don't think anything except the main grey undercarriage is original, new motor new esc, new remote receiver.. you name it.. but well worth it for the miles of fun you have, I set mine up for the sand pits.. can't say this is the fastest traxxas machine I have, but sure is the most fun..

I had a I wanna say a stampede that I burned the motor and batteries up hard years ago (nicad Batts, brushed motor, the batteries barely lasted 5 min) and was looking at this and trying to get back into rc cars

I've had the same truck for over 3 years and have never broke my rear axle. Or stripped a spur or pinion gear and I run a really tight gear mesh

Can add some link where to buy the diff and the rear drive shafts

Where do you recommend getting a high speed gear i got mine 2nd hand and dont have one

Tu video es muy explicativo mucha gente quiere un carro veloz pero no saben que la velocidad tiene un costo de dinero las ruedas se gastan mas rapido y no son baratas en cuanto a Traxxas te venden en $440 el auto pero sin bateria obio debes comprarlo por separado y un buen cargador lo que representa otros $200 y luego darle el adecuado mantenimiento aceites amortiguadores no llevarlos a la playa ni dejar que el agua entre en los componentes hay que saber como repararlos hace poco compre uno y lo ando a 7.4 voltios con una bateria lipo de 2 celdas no corre mucho pero no se rompe nada 😂 saludos y buen video

I agree with everything you said except the last part about flexing with the RC yeah I'm sorry but im putting little Timmy's Tyco Car to shame every chance I get😂 every time around this year for the last 3 years Arma sells a beginner hobby grade that can go over 20 mph for $100 most parents end up spending 40 to $70 on a Walmart RC car 🤷🏾‍♂️

Ya with those kids I would say that you were showing off but sharing the experience with new kids that might like to get into the hobby and just maybe have a opportunity to show and share Gods love with them so just keep that i mind next time you have that opportunity

I just got the rustler 4x4 vxl and after about 5 minutes of running it hard the green light starts flashing red and the RC CAR won't run, it usually takes about 3-4 minutes for the red light to turn green then it allows me to run it again. Do you know why it does that?

Is there a training setting on the remote?

U meed to build a ramp ive had a couple rustlers i like my slash more

slap a hobbywing max10 2400kv in it and drive it 4s with 17t pinion. then its amazing. and bigger wheels

So im not using traxxas batteries, however i have a venom 5000 3s and it is completely stock, out of box. However when i run the 3s batteries it will cut off and a red light blinks on the ecu. What am i doing wrong? Should i put the ecu fan on it. I think its a safety mech. And it’s overheating. But im not sure. Appreciate the response

The shocks are horrible

This was probably the most dissapointing rc car I have ever got from traxxas or any other brand really, cant play with it for more than 5 minutes before it overheats, 100% stock no speed gear… how are you charging 430$ for a 1/10 premium car that cannot be used ?? Completely unacceptable… Good video though, guess Ill have to get a fan if I want to use this car…
