@@philipjolley1015 I was gonna comment to try a GoPro 7. The Hypersmooth is amazing, and on my RC it looks like I'm riding in a car because there are so few vibrations. Even with the camera mounted I bet this beast could do 100+ mph! Maybe....haha. Worth a try!

I watch all your posts along with a zillion others. I started hearing the whispers about tp power awhile back and grabbed one up_a 940 kv to, I've yet to run it because I fried the xl2 that I was gonna pair it with, I've got several 150 amp escs to try it with but I'm not sure which one if any will p7sh it best, at 60 rpm I'm not sure which gearing to attempt a speed run with and the to has 8mm shaft which I've got little of in the pinion gear selection on hand.. How do you predict a 25 pin would perform with 36 spur using 6s rather than 8s with my mxl 6 esc. ....in an aluminum rustler by flm.. I realize that's a question that has to many unknowns to guarantee accuracy but if you get a min tell me if I'm on the right path or wasting time on the wrong set up... Thank you and keep on keeping on

@@philipjolley1015 I've noticed foams never want to hook up on a prepped track. Not sure why. Hoons and GRPs are good but would maybe only get a pass or 2 at this speed.

@@philipjolley1015 yessir. I use the Hoons or GRPs on the track it's only 8th Mile so I usually don't trap to much higher than around 100-110. But those bsrs are what I use for my speed runs. It's really wierd I was shocked.

Thanks, 135 with a truggy on src would be very impressive. Mine blew a foam at 97mph. Idk if anyone has been much over 100 with them.

I haven't hit the 135 speed yet I been using a rc gear speed ratio app on my android for almost 3 years and I've used it alot over that time and it's only been wrong twice and that was input error due to me not quite knowing the builds final gearing ratio but it was only wrong by 2mph at both times. I've never seen an app that has been so accurate in my life on anything much less rc speed. You input everything from motor kv..lipo cell count..pinion & spur tooth count.. weight..final gear ratio which give a laundry list of rtr rc vehicles to choose from or you can just Input your own ratio..tire diameter..esc amperage..ect. I've been seeing people on the 1:8 truggy's using the GRP wheels but they seem too small for the truggy..I figured if anything use the 1:5 GRP'S for the 1:8 truggy's and the 1:5 GRP'S for the 1:8 buggys. For the damn price point and them.being kevlar belted I just can't see them blowing foams at such a low speed but on the package they do claim these are not speed run tires but I fig6thats just to cover their ass due to all the rookie drivers out there who never been past 30mph and all of a sudden their mommy's buy them all these parts for their birthdays and they build their first rocket and dont quite understand what there getting themselves into at those speeds. I do know at 70mph at 0°timing my truggy once I got past the mad torque pull it was hands free at the wheel as she drove the entire run straight & true on her own so very smooth that I felt these could most certainly handle another 65mph but than again that's bout double that speed. Idk I've heard nothing but good things and the bigger the tire the higher the top speed per giving kv.

@@philipjolley1015 I do have a practice set and a brand new set never opened for my speedrun's of over 100mph. Those particular SRC's only get used during speedrun's and my test set for 2 seasons now tread wise look like the day I got them. Try not to brake hard and no power slides just basic full throttle straight runs and brake and that's it.... What's your opinion on a good solid speedrun wheel & tire for a 1:8 truggy

@@philipjolley1015 I dont know if I explained lord not my 135mph run calculated is running my castle 1515 sensored motor & mamba monster x sensored esc on 6s 100c minimum with cappack 44 spur 23 pinion and running 70mph at 0° timing... from 0mph to 70mph within like about 4 to 6 house lengths I feel I should reach that goal no problem long as my tires an handle it. I only got a few vids on my channel but 1 is a standing backflip at 70% torque and motor power with morning dew on the tires at only just between half and 3/4 throttle. The 135 will of course take all the power the 2 gens ace rs packs can punch and maybe a little motor timing and maybe she'll top out at 110 to 120 max. Idk well see on video next season due to my wife is close to 9 months pregnant which is taking up the rest of my rc season time for this year but that gives me all winter to get it..& my tlr-22 3.0 spec racer ready again and my future losi 8ieght e x. Will say for my 1:8 platforms I'm absolutely loving my savox 1270 tg servos.
