Hey guys first of all i purchased this tmaxx for a steal of a deal, only $200! This video shows yall exactly the way i got it from the guy and all the stuff that was included. This video goes through doing some cleaning and testing of all the parts. I plan to make a series about fixing the ole girl up, taking care of some issues, and doing some upgrading along the way. Now finally back in stock at traxxas’s website and yes I ordered one. I have an older 3.3 & 2.5 and I can’t wait to get the most update version Love electric, but for me there’s nothing like the Tmaxx! Oh man I cannot wait until it gets here

I bought a revo 3.3 from someone for $90 and it came with 2 spare tires, remote, charger, 2 ez start wands, a few spare bodies, stickers, and the manual. Although I put another $200 into it (for new tires, ez start battery, air filter oil, new air filter, new charger, etc. and it runs great now!

I love electric rc’s, but I’ll always be a sucker for that Nitro sound and experience It’s like the V8 sound compared to a 4 cylinder or a hybrid Traxxas got famous because of the Tmaxx I hope they take a chance and do a tribute reboot to the mighty TMaxx one last time Do it right Traxxas, you owe it all to the Tmaxx I know I’ll buy one for me and my son

I got my tmaxx at agarage sale for 10 dollars. I put a receiver with a radiomaster mk12 remote, came with a gallon of nitro. All I had to do was high pressure wash it and after run wd40 thru it. Replace the glow plug. Not sure why they couldn't get it to running but it runs great for me and it is easily my favorite RC..

This was a very early version of the T-Maxx with the 3.3 and didn't come with reverse but you should still be able to order a kit from Traxxas. Glad it all worked for you.

I got a few traxxas nitros I plan on buying more to restore them. Nitro fuel is hard to get near me lol.

You don't run it on WD 40 you run nitro fuel like traxxas 20%

You seem to know quite a bit about those Traxxas cars I was wondering. This ol buddy mine told me he used to get into it what he called Big Time. I think he may be a bit of a BS er Is there any Traxxas car that you know of with four shocks per wheel. He told me he had four shocks per wheel. When I look at them on RU-vid the most I see is 2 per wheel. Keith Kuhn

Yup, these ones are hard to kill, i just got one thats been out in the weather for 10+ years, basically all the exposed rubber is crumbling and the motor was seized, but after a bit of WD40 and a drill attached to the flywheel, i got it turning over and even the glow plug is still working 😂

Fixing to build a Tmaxx 3.3 from ground up with a brushless conversion low rider with 17mm hex buggy or truggy wheels with a proline Chevy body....another lil gem to my collection....be a while, just ordering parts for rolling chassis....then electric conversion later....
