Hi and welcome to Wtf Rc Cars,
Some thing useful for the trx 4 and 6
Traxxas 8026x rock lights.
You will need 1x TRX8028 traxxas power adapter or a full light kit for you trx
to switch the light from the transmitter I use a Skyrc traxxas light switch there are 3 versions
1 steering this uses stock radio and switches the lights when you tune the steering in a set pattern
2 gear shit switch this uses stock radio and switches the light by selecting hi lo gear quickly
3 extra channel switch this is what I use as I run the nb4 with 8 channel receiver,

There is a flat string type of material used to make aircraft wire bundles. Much cleaner look and no chances of chafing through insulation, unlike zip ties.

Hi... Do you have a video of how you mounted the magnetic body mounts? I've tried but can't get the body to sit low enough... I've got a defender too 👍

Hi, I don't have a vid at the moment but as a rule I fit them all the same way, I 1st fit the magnetic mount to the top of the body posts and the body, I then remove the screws that hold the magnets and take them off the body only also remove the screws that hold the body posts in place, I lower the body into position so it sits at the correct hight then lift it off and push the body post screws back in and re fit if it sits at the right high I replace the body magnets and try it again, if it now sits too high I move all the posts down one hole and it should be good :)
