The Traxxas TRX-4 is something I always wanted for like 5 years now and I finally got one! I know they are kind of old now and I had some extra cash on the side. Yes they are expensive and for someone that isn't really into RC cars but you get a lot for the money. Everyone has their own hobbies they are into and they spend money on it, you get the idea lol. This video is part 1 just getting it operational, next video is painting the body and a few other details!

Thanks for the informative video, was pretty cool seeing you build it, how many upgrades are compatible with this model and what other kit builds are available from Traxxas? Thanks

There are tons on Traxxas and aftermarket upgrades you can do on this! It really depends on what you want and how you drive to determine your setup. I think the Slash, Trx4 Sport, and this are the only ones atm but I could be wrong.

@@IngenTechNational Thanks, yeah that sounds similar to the info I found on the net, I am more into crawlers and was looking at doing the assembly myself. One more question for you if you don’t mind, I see you got the body separately, is the trx4 chassis compatible with different bodies or only the pick up? Thanks.

@@laune6614 You can mount whatever body you want onto it, this is a 312mm wheelbase so a body along there will be fine if it is longer I am sure you can stretch the wheelbase a bit. The hardest part is making sure it is mounted right but yes you can put anybody you want on there that is for a crawler!
