Yes, it's a pity. There were times, when Tamiya was somehow ahead of the bunch ... but this has been long gone ... at least with scale cars or monster trucks ... when the Clod was something new the TXT was just a reaction to the ambitions of builders and aftermarket producers ... the CR-01 was just a halfhearted attempt to answer the AX-10 ... and no, I am not bashing on Tamiya, pretty much 95% of my "collection" is Tamiya. Since last X-Mas I own a TRX-4 Bronco and I must say that it is very well engineered. Well performing and not a coffee grinder like the High Lift series but very silent in comparison. I still love the Bruiser and I own the RN36 but it's a pain in the wallet until it is running. Costing more than a TRX-4 but w/o electronics.

My words. But my problem are not the prices, but I like to get nice rc scale models, not kiddy comic versions.

Yes, these are very good out of the box. Maybe the steering servo is the weakest part, but I have in mine also still the original one. 👍😊

I use only a bit of oil spray on the bearing, shafts and all moving parts. But I do not disasseble the parts.

I actually wrote to Traxxas support with the proposal of making it transparent, so it will look awesome on the black / red edition too...and any other makeing their own custom Blazer, when that will be possible. So hopefully they will make it transparent, so the back also will be black there :-)

That is very true! I've been on both sides of the income ladder... I'm not good at being dirt poor. I had more than enough for over 44 years, then it all instantly vanished. I wasn't over lavish then! I often gave to Charities and had a Make-a-Wish child almost every year. These were all terminally ill children, but they taught me more than anyone except my own Parents. I've always been in a loving family. It's all I've got now, and I wouldn't trade it for anything!
