Great video. I too have a stock TRX-6 and it’s very capable. The biggest issues are the approach angle and the “exhaust” underneath. The exhaust gets caught up on stuff all the time and the front bumper is too low relative to the total wheelbase so it tends to plow into things. In really tough downhill approaches it can be hard to maintain steering angle because of the weight of the rig and the relative lack of steering power. But overall it’s an insanely capable rig for a stock truck. I frequently outperform many modified rigs out on crawls.
I have been impressed! I tought that the 6x6 would be worst than the 4x4... No, indeed it beats the 4x4 almost everywhere! Amazing. Thank you to share.
As you can see...it always depends on the situation and terrain if the 6x6 performs better or worse than a 4x4 ! And yes...the Defender is a bit top heavy with its roof rack ;-)
There isn’t anything specific that you should know other than the fact to just have fun with those Rc’s 👍, they are extremely fun and there are so many possibilities with these RC’s, hope you have fun 😊👍
The TRX-6 was definitely able to overcome any challenges that it faced, while the TRX-4 also did pretty well but not as good as the TRX-6, but they are both amazing rc crawlers and I definitely recommend them 👍
@@FuriousEye wow the more i see on this trx6, the more impressed i am. May have to add one to the fleet if it doesn't cost me an old lady. Ive been pushing it lately....
The camera does not do that turn justice. You can see from when the TRX6 takes on that part, if it were to go slightly more to the left (down the slope) it would have either slipped or flipped over, so rather than choosing the left path, the TRX6 crawls onto the ledge onto the right. The TRX4 was attempting to do the same thing in order to avoid the steep slope, and so it was being readjusted in an effort to crawl up that ledge, which ultimately resulted in the TRX4 failing to crawl the ledge and flipping down the slope. On camera the obstacle looks easy because the angle at which it is filmed at does not show the true steepness of the slope.
I love both TRX4 and TRX6. But the trx4 owner better find a way to learn how to set up the suspension. Your video is misleading everyone how bad it is the TRX4.
