@@Fonzierc pfft ..Sorry mate those are excuses for the misus 🤣🤣🤣. Can never have enough toys, and theres always space.. if theres a will theres a way.. 🤣. Just playin mate... Fair enough.
So you bit the bullet, that´s awesome, and that motor combo seems really bonkers despite the weight! When reading up on Castle, they often limit different setups to a certain weight limit, what do you think about that?
To be honest bro,, i havent read up about that lol, i thought the mamba x combo handled the trx4 with ease, and i had alot of upgrades on the trx4, metal bumpers and all that and brass... So by the feel i though it will not worry about the trx6 extra weight 🤔. Even with upgrades too.. its such a powerful combo, and cant believe it it too regarding how small the actual motor is..
@@KingsRC Fair enough, if it holds it holds. This combo is ideal for low speed crawling or trail running in vehicles weighing up to 9lbs on 2s to 4s; it can also be used in more aggressive setups like rock racing and extended hill climbing on vehicles up to 5lbs. This is weird because they know people will add hopups and what not exceeding their limits. I mean the TRX 6 weighs 9 pounds out of the box?
@@DirtyRC101 yeah the trx6 is pretty heavy.. well the thing is it says its only max 3s? i run all 3s on my cars, i took the trx6 out the other day and i dint feel the motor heat up.. did some speed runs and also wasnt too hot either, with my hw axe 540 i do speed runs for less than 5 minutes the motor get real hot.. havent had that issue with the mamba x yet...
@@KingsRC That is so weird, i will have to do some more research before i make up my mind wether to get the axe 550 3300kv or some castle ditto. My quicrun fusion stays cool on 3s whatever i do to it. But you are saying it only takes 3s, that doesnt make any sense. Do you have a link to your setup so i´m not looking at the wrong one?
@@DirtyRC101 the esc can handle up to 6s but the motor is appearantly rated only to 3s is what it says... IMO the hobbywing axe 550 is diffinitely more smoother.. the only advantage i can see with the mamba x is that you could venture out to holmes hobbies motors. Where as the hobbywing your stuck with the combo.
