When i was getting this size monster truck RC, i went with the Outcast 8s. I broke it nearly every time ive taken it out so it doesnt get used much. In 1/6 size, I prefer the Losi Super Rock Rey and actually cant remember the last time I've broke it. I have 3 actually, one i thrash on, one i use more moderate, and the third is actually the V2 and hasnt been used. In 1/6 i also have the Losi Super Baja Rey V1 that is also brand new and dont plan on using it.
@@travisrc1649 Believe me, I know. My first large scale was the Super Rock Rey and eventually it lead up to getting a Losi 5T as well. Bigger stuff is expensive, but can handle power the smaller stuff only dreams about.
Love my xmaxx . Way to fun. Even when it breaks its fun. so easy to fix. Monster trucks are the best Need them back big bearings / hubs and grease all bearings too. Mine love the wet stuff lol Oya wd40 the arms for flex but take the pins out that hold the hubs and put the nut and bolt. Hard hit the stock pin Flys out. Shoe glue the body helps too
Hey travis, you got yourself a great tough truck! However my personal experience to make this truck (almost) bullet proof is here a list to make it better. Maybe you already know but here it is; Rpm hub carriers Drive cup sleeves Max6/5 esc with a 1100kv or 1650kv motor Chassis brace m2c M2c motor slide with rear motor support and top plate Gds spur with tekno pinion Belted tyres duratrax for instance Pro line brute body armor Also it is good to have all the sizes bearing that goes in the truck to have that in stock. Best thing to do this is to replace this as you break it. Enjoy the ride!! Once you get it dialed in, its a force of nature😊🎉
