It’s a frustrating hobby some days, my bashers don’t see the jumps most RU-vid channels are doing . My stuff is 1/10 scale and still breaks but not as often. I think it just comes down to how harsh the driving/jumping/bashing is and when it’s repetitive stuff is going to break more often. No matter the brand or upgrades , if it wasn’t fun none of us would keep wrenching and coming back. Thanks for the video man , you sure put in alot of time and energy into the hobby 👍
Yeah I was in the same boat today. I at least got halfway through the second pack before my Kraton 6s EXB broke. Ended up needing both lower hinge pins, a LF lower control arm and both upper control arm. About $50 worth of parts. Had a good bash on Saturday cuz nothing broke. lol.
You just made my Monday evening! Preparing myself to get back into work mode after the holiday weekend, and I saw you released a new video. Watching you have fun with the XMaxx weighed heavy on my decision to get back into RC. It’s been about 4, actually more like 5 ½ years since I last ran my Revo 3.3 Nitro. I love watching your XMaxx bashing videos. Too bad the bulkhead broke so soon into your session. I like the fact you do not edit out your mishaps. In all fairness, the bulkheads and suspension arms on that particular XMaxx was already probably in a weakened state from previous sessions. Either that, or the XMaxx while seeing you focus on the Outcast was shouting out for attention. LoL. Thank you for not editing out the repairs. I I learn something watching you repair or upgrade, every time. Please keep them coming. Question. What model(s) GoPro are you using?
Pls request to answer below question Between Infraction v2 and Felony 6s,if only one could be bought Which one would you recommend? Considering durability, speed and ease of maintenance
I can tell you one. You know the black spring steel banding straps that they use to affix things down onto pallets? It's free at like lumber places. If you cut a piece the length of the motor mount it can be placed under the motor mounts and give you half steps between the pin lettering system. I run 20/50 gears but use the 19/50 position. It gives you perfect gear mesh and still use the pin system.
@OswaldBeef Thanks,I been looking for the sistem that upgraded the front of the stock motor and looks like it's should work good, appreciate that.blessings my friend
@earlmoorhead5555 appreciate my friend,I just bought a new one and the 46/18 don't know what's going on let's see if i learn my lesson whit my last one hopefully i can enjoy this one,God bless u all
Everyone can say M2C and your problems are solved that's not the case.....if you're bashing hard parts will break I don't care what brand or material you use, the aluminum part might not break but something else will, the aluminum will eventually break also....plastic is best for hard bashing!!!!💯
The old trusty Xmax. Lol. U always got something to compare to arma with that old plastic bucket. Smh. Arma is machinery that Xmax is a toy for real. Lol
I watch all your vids I love what u do and a huge thank you as well you give so much useful information I love that about this hobby most of us just love it no matter what
Man that sucks , every damn time stuff . I noticed if they don’t land flat or straight there’s potential trouble 😂. I’m mostly on grass around here . I think it helps with bad landings . Still awesome video . I seen thunder RC launching his pretty good but im pretty sure he said he had issues before whatever upgrades he did .
Wheels are causing issues to heavy. But you should try aluminum bulkheads. I'm thinking of giving them a try on my ultimate, I noticed plastic seems weak or a bad batch, I broke a lot of bulkheads.
Aluminum is good in certain areas, but overall for bashing aluminum is no good...If you're gonna bash plastics is the best, those parts will break no matter what material they are made of and plastic is cheap, and you can buy them at every hobby shop, aluminum will cause other parts to break and you can't get the aluminum part at your hobby shop when it breaks...some of these parts are designed to give/break!!!!
I had m2c brace with one of xmaxx and no middle brace from tower to tower, more flexibility in my opinion and for aluminum bulkheads, I'm just curious to give a try, I see arms breaking instead of bulkheads maybe shock towers to, my ultimate is breaking bulkheads left and right lol but I bash it pretty hard.
I love winter . bashing never broke an A-arm one the XMaxx or the XRT winter bashing down to 7 degrees f. but bell cranks don't like it cold, Anchorage Alaska.
@@earlmoorhead5555 You have sets that also include pins for the shocks at the bottom and for the bulkheads. If you google "captured hinge pins gpm xmaxx" you will find them. About 30 bucks for the full set , just change the included o-rings to nylon washers, when they pop off. M2C has them as well but more expensive. Greetings from Holland and thanks for the great content👍
