I took my rustler there the other day and nothing broke, but for the first time in my 7 years of having it I lost a screw and the suspension no longer existed in connection to the shock tower lol. Finally getting her going right again tonight I think.
The XMAXX is a great trk. Have 4 of them. 2wks ago, in a trkstop a big trk ran over on of them. It busted up the front end, rebuilding it. Great jump. 👍🏼
@@Stiandragland Yes Kev is not afraid to take risks with his rcs. He also wrenches on his own rc cars (like everyone should do instead of giving hundreds to a hobby shop so they can grease your diffs) and I learned how to take them apart from him. The funny thing is that Kevin Talbot now drives his monster truck "Game Over" now.

Got the green one as well. Then a couple weeks later a red one kind of fell in my lap for a price I couldn't refuse.....HAHA I've driven several other r/c trucks and cars but driving a X-Maxx is a whole different beast. Its a great truck. Love them. Love driving them. People love to crap on the Traxxas but they made a beast in the X-Maxx .
Love mine! Bashed it at our families 4th of july party this year and almost all the guys had to come watch lol wrecked so many times in my 4 runs and still made it home unbroken!

I have no issue with Traxxas batteries but they are overpriced for what they are and only work with special chargers. I prefer voiding the warranty by chopping the plugs and using off brand lipos such as Zeee lipos.
I need a XMaxx in my life! Great video man! Stock gearing I was not 100% confident about clearing your dad's truck! 😆 put his second in case of crashing! 😆

Mikey my Dad did a lot of work on Iron Warrior engine and trans when Glenn Bowlin first got the truck. My Dad and Glenn use to do professional mudd racing and my dad was a huge Ford man he was well known in mudd racing He owned and raced Your Worst Nightmare his name is Wild Bill Davis. I seen you had some bedsides of Iron Warrior I was wondering if I could buy one and hang it in my man cave? I also have a xmaxx and erevo 2.0 I love Traxxas cars have a few others to. Me and my brother have school pictures from the late 90s wearing purple Iron Warrior shirts when Glenn first got them we got them I loved that truck so much.
I came to your show in Corbin, and all I could think of is, man I’d love to hit these jumps with my 8s Kraton!!! Lol be cool to have some RC bashing at Monster truck shows during breaks🤷♂️

That was cool seeing the rc car jump the two monster trucks. Just think what it would of looked like if the rc car had ago pro cammera on it. But that car got some big air time. Thanks for the video.

I had an hpi savage 20 years ago, I don't see much of a change? Besides this one being electronic and mine was nitro, all the parts, springs, diffs, skock posts, body, it all the same
Only things I have broken is a wheel barring a set of tires and the esc in 2 and a half years but I don't bash to hard also running GDS 18T PINION and GDS 46t spur gear and hobbywing esc punch set to 5
I got the TMAXX when the released it with the 3.3 it was fun and all but I desided to put a big block losi 454 on it. Now that was loads of fun but I needed spare parts for everything the slightest crash at high speeds would cause a ton of carnage. I Love the nitro.
@@georgenichols7718 Nitro is my usual go-to. I have the T-MAXX a nitro 4-Tec, and electric 4-Tec that I bought completely mangled, so I converted it to off-road suspension.
Nice jump! Been wanting to do the same with my xmaxx. Not afraid to send it. Jus need to find someone willing to let me jump over their truck…..or trucks….lol🤔
