I thought you had found an issue with the kit, a broken drive cup dam I waited all that time for a cup. Can't wait to see you rip this around and maybe you will find an issue.
I got mine last week and have to say it’s the best upgrade so far and mine is super upgraded!!! Also I purchased vgr progressive springs off eBay and added 50wt oil to all 4 shocks and it has the most plush suspension out of all my 1/5 scale rigs. Great video 💪 got my xmaxx because of your vidz. It’s only a couple of weeks ago. I’m pretty curious too about that widening kit but on the other side I think the xmaxx doesn’t need it all. I love how it drives stock 👍 happy new year Earl and everybody reading the comments

I got the same kit as you comin for mine. Max5 with HW 800kv 56113 motor and I’m using Vitavon 25/30 mod1.5 and it’s super fast haha. Nice setup you have there bud. Can’t wait to try mine out in a few days
EARL....yup,I’ve got 3 xmaxxes,,,hardly any issues at all,,I’ve got the older one as you do...imho...I think it’s the best of the 3 I’ve got,,,,,I got the wide kit on the way....can’t wait,,,if it works out I’ll install them on 2 of them,,,,I’m keeping one in the stock ,,,,just because,,,,they are an absolutely a breeze to work on them......🇺🇸👈🚘

@@earlmoorhead5555 earl been watching for along time wanted to tell you I spotted you had that rear upper hinge pin in the top hole and the other side in the bottom hole not sure if you noticed that or not the right upper is in bottom the left upper is in top hinge pin hole
I will be installing it on one of my two Xmaxx. Am stoked it came out because the only other option was just too high priced. I realize the cost for custom machined work was the reason. I don't know if $199 just sounds good because of the price of the alternate or it is really just expensive and I'm stupid for having this hobby? 😆 lol

I'm actually happy that not all Xmaxxes are this wide from the factory. This is an awesome option for people looking to track more and gain stability, but having the standard narrow track width is nice for the hardcore bashers and people like me who play in the woods alot. Now we can have the best of both worlds with options and ultimate tunability for how each person drives 👍 one day the Xmaxx platform is going to be the most versatile and customizable, which is amazing!
Im not interested in getting the kit. I feel like it's a traxxas money grab. I love my x, and haven't had any issues with it. Runs great, doesn't flip or tip. I can see why the max needed it, but since it sold they threw out the bait for the masses. This is the only part of the hobby I don't like. They treat the consumer like we're 💩.

I just purhased the widemaxx kit for my Xmaxx... Im wondering where you can purchase the extended driveshafts if you happen to bend one.. would you know where to find them?
