The sh*t is STILL real in LA -- It ain't as serious nationwide & coast to coast anymore as it got in the late 80s-early 90s, but the war goes on deep in those hoods of the West Coast
@@brnjismith707 You right...As a civilian you can go into certain hoods, just as long as you don't show off or show out. However, if somebody steps to you & asks "Yo where you from, who you with?", you better have the right answer
@@dradra2day snoop was never put on the set . His Own OG exposed this 7-8 years ago and called out snoop for turning his back on LBC . That's the only reason why snoop even had the LBC movement kicked off in 2016
Vlad with 2nd grader level question Vlob: “ *giggles* “omg trey, wow what would happen if you, shall i say, pulled up into a Blood gangster hood all Cripalated out, my friend” ? *giggles more
I'm going to tell a quick story. I moved to St Louis from the south around 2010. I noticed a lot of people wearing blue. It was a blue area. I left in about 2012 to move to Oregon for a little while. When I came back it was red. But every now and then you would be walking down the street somewhere in a Sea full of red and you would see someone walking down the street in blue normally this was an older gentleman in fact it was always an older gentleman. I don't know anything about what was going on all I know is in a sea full of red you can find blue.
My mom and dad beat the shit outta me and my older sister- if the right people knew, they probably woulda took us .. but this was in the 80s/90s, just a different time I guess, def couldn’t do that today, for sure would be abuse… but I’m white and probably didn’t get abused as bad as Mob did, but I didn’t turn out violent or anything- but I can def see how some people do , I probably got it easy compared to some people
Im from Philly but been all around LA. Everywhere. Hollywood to South Central to Watts to Compton. Never had any issues. But i also where neutral colors. I know that at least. But the only place had any small issue was Hollywood blvd of all places
Vlad you have opened my eyes and my mind to artists that I loved in the day and remain the only era of rap that I can say I love. Tray Dee is cool as fuck and I wish I could pick his brain on some real shit. I'm a middle class white boy with no expectation of respect from any of the players from the era but, I'm fascinated by the stories of the individual people who are just genuinely interesting people. Have to give you credit for making these guys real.
Main reason why Tray Deee wasn't too eager to meet mob james because Insane crip don't Get along wit Mob Piru 😂 Him and James woulda prolly squabbled to the death
@@kayfor2351 I think you need to know his history! He was never a gang member of any factor in his hood!! In fact in the 90s and even early 2000s he was being extorted by his own hood! That’s why he had to rely on Suge’s Piru’s for protection..especially at his murder trial!! I just think it’s sad how at 50 he’s still claiming a life that was never his! You can understand he did when he was younger as part of an image to sell records, but at this age real sad!!
@@its_rick_james_bich2575 bro what? Obviously you don't know gang culture in L.A. , when you Come from that place and u was gang , and you made it successfully, of course he gonna pay his homies, that's how the gang is ... It's not extortion, that's where he from and he helping out his dudes, and never had to rely on suge knight for protection 😂 that shit is ridiculous, He was Rollin 20's Crip, even snoop cousin said he started hanging with the Rollin 20's crips when he was growing up selling drugs and sleeping in a Camero and bouncing on other couches to survive, them dudes wouldve smoked Snoop a long time ago if he wasn't Crip and reppin Crip, Tray deee wouldn't fuck wit snoop if snoop was fake, long Beach no bloods, it's all crips of course you gonna have to adapt to your environment I'm pretty sure you know that💯
They're feeding their families from the music that made them famous. What's bad for society is people not raising their kids right and letting rap culture be their baby sitters. There's no waste in earning a living for doing something legal and talented
@@asparagusonly dont care . They promote gang violence and glamourize it to our youth over 20 years look at it now. The music and what they rap about is disgusting and no role models to follow especially now we have drill music ect.
_"Until you start putting down your demonstrations..."_ I thought this was funny for some reason. You need to _demonstrate_ behavior in order to be known. Actions really do speak louder.
bruuv! 4:50 be careful how u talk.. first "did u have a boifriend?" and then the "did he[step dad] touch u?" i know u didn't mean it likee that, but still.. 😬🥴😶🌫
Stupid stupid ass question hell yeah it's still a thing man these people lost their homeboys that they dearly love on both sides these cats are not easily willing to let that go Young or old big or little homies these days it is still going down on site with some of these homies man need I say anymore uncle Steno dropping them away
You need to grow up in south in 70s and 80s everybody I know got beat. You do something wrong you had to go pick your branch they beat you with or go get the belt. My mom made me take my clothes off so no padding
