When this dude said the teams that passed on him in the draft will regret it for whatever reason I totally believed him because I could tell it came from his soul. All he needed was playing time dude is playing with a chip on his shoulder and I think that dunk on Wemby the #1 pick in his draft was personal. The greatest highlight of the game for me was Kerr's reaction. His reaction tells me TJD has earned his trust and that's all you can ask for as a rookie. I'm sure he won't be getting another DNP again if he's healthy to play. 😊
As an Indiana fan, it was mind boggling that he wasn’t considered draftable because he didn’t shoot 3’s. It’s not like he dominated at Creighton. IU played em all, and he DOMINATED.
This afternoon, I said we needed to develop TJD as soon as possible, but in fact, we might just need to give him more trust and play him more. What a performance!!!
The funniest thing about that last dunk on Wimby was Klay`s look at him after the dunk... darn kid, you're pretty good... love him palming the ball with one hand like a grapefruit, like the great centers of yore
That third period began a coup detat (rebellion), and TJD‘s dunk +1 over Wemby was the coup de grace (killing blow!) and had Wemby, coach Pop, and the SA fans screaming “Sacrebleu! SACREBLEU!”
He is the man!!! Great replacement for James Wisemen... TJD still young but the way he play the game is always high intensity both offense and defense... Great tandem with CP3 🙏😇🏀 Let's go dubs
fake handoff with Podz then yamming it on Sochan was TOUGHHHHHHHHHHH 0:46 had me out of my seat. what a game TJD. came in the game and clamped up Collins
Dubs first legit pick and roll lob threat since...Bogut? (Would he even count?) Making his Dad proud. Might have to take the crown of best baller in the family
Still remember his dad was a monster around the rim, as 2 Davises in 90s pacers with rik smits, reggie, kalender rose, travis best, made it to 2000 finals
I’ve been saying for weeks and weeks, that TJD needs to get more playing time. The kids a baller, and no disrespect to Looney, but he’s way more talented. I watched him ball-out for the University of Indiana, so I was glad to see the Dubs had finally drafted a big man with some skills.
Watch all the games closely but wow I love that last play live and the bench reaction . I dislike Victor comes off arrogant which is not surprising being French . He is 7'5 with a cheatcode wingspan I am so glad he banged on his head
