One thing I can say Eminem capped on his diss is MGK is NOT a mumble rapper.

MGK still raps. He released hotel Diablo after this. Every song on that album was fire. After that he released two punk rock albums. He's getting ready to return to rap with a new album which I believe is going to be called floor 13. Go check out his channel.

Apparently they squashed the beef, and later mgk and Halsey had a song together (mgk also references this on the funk master flex freestyle, 2nd one. And in this song mgk says “I said on flex anyone could get it, I didn’t know it’d be you”). But Halsey confirmed they smashed, but it was like, in between her on again off again with G-easy. Like they broke up for a brief period and in that period her and mgk smashed.

Em stans will try to make you believe this song is trash but it's a very good diss and did land some shots and actually made Em respond and dedicate a full song to him not just a throwaway line or a verse. Em is my 4th favorite rapper of all time and MGK probably doesn't make my top 50 but l can still give him his props. Em still showed he's the superior rapper on Killshot

Great reaction but I’m disappointed that you guys did this out of order. Killshot is pretty much all a rebuttal It’s hard to appreciate the flips/rebuttals in Killshot when you haven’t heard the lines he’s rebutting.

It all started because MGK did a feature on a Tech 9 song and said the phrase "y'all just rap you are not gods" There was a litte more but thats the main line that Eminem took as a personal diss to him because of his rap God song ... The Haley tweet was just icing on the cake amd extra motivation.

Im gonna be honest, i dont really listen to rap. If i do listen to it, its from early 2000s. I never listened to MGK until this song came out. I truely believe this is a great song and diss. After this song came out i started listening to MGK, even his punk rock music. People were hating like a mutha after without acknowledging his art and it kindha pissed me off. He was the only one out of the all rappers that EM dissed to rebuttal.

Thank you for a real reaction people kill me when they say this was trash and Em sent MGK out of rap with his response lol. Also, that last bar about fucking another rappers girl is about G eazy.

MGK tweeted that Hallie was hot as fuck when she was like 15 and he was 21. Then MGK did a feature with Tech9 were he threw a sub at Em. Em responded to that with Not Alike. MGK then released Rap Devil and Em responded with Killshot. Em has tossed a couple lines at him in songs since then too.

actually this disss came out around labor day em didnt respond til september it took him a while before he did. the stans were getting impatient they started making fan made diss songs and posting them to youtube under eminems name as the response to rap devil. it was crazy but once em did finally drop it, it broke youtube it exploded.

It's wild that Kelly said "mad about something I said in 2012." Kelly was at least 20 and she was 16. But then turns around and says it's just a joke. Was it a joke? Or did Kells try to say it's a joke because he was addressed about it and banned from shade 45 because he pretty much outted himself sounding like pedo, meanwhile having a daughter himself. That's what really blew my mind about that whole thing. He didn't put into perspective that had someone said some creepy shit like that about his underage daughter, he would react in a similar way.

Actually MGK took 24 hours to reply to Em's verses, in fact Rap Devil video was shot in the parking lot of his tour bus ( he was opening for a rock band in that period btw) while Em took two weeks to reply, rap fans were getting impatient and were making fun of Em.

I have been an Eminem fan since the first time I heard him and same with MGK. This beef was huge and everyone expected everyone to take a side and it was almost like you couldn't be fans of both artists still. I was a fan of 2Pac and Biggie before and during their beef and they are still 2 of my favorite rappers so why should a fan have to choose when their beef didn't directly impact us? I've continued to listen to both of them. MGK is the only one that has battled Eminem and didn't end up losing their entire fan base and I feel he's the only one that has ever come close winning a battle with Eminem since the day before Eminem met Dre when Eminem lost at the rap Olympics. Anyone familiar with MGK knows he's always played instruments and had that punk vibe along with the rap thing so him coming out in another lane of music wasn't necessarily due to this battle and honestly MGK was HUGE with Tickets to my Downfall. And MGK has been back in his rap bag since lockdown. And he's better then ever. Check out the Lockdown Sessions, the 2 cyphers from earlier this year and Pressure he released earlier this year. I always feel like I need to defend MGK because Eminem fans are very loyal but I'm not one of those fans that is going to say that other rappers don't have talent. Did 21 year old MGK write a tweet about Em's daughter that was not ok? Absolutely! What did 21 year old Slim Shady do that was not ok or would have been in the same league? They were both young, doing drugs and drinking and both of them were the crazy white boy of their crew so I'm sure they both did similar stupid stuff. What's funny is that Caskey did a cypher over an Eminem beat this year and shouted out MGK for the inspiration to do the cypher. Caskey is signed to Yelawolf's label. Yelawolf was originally signed by Eminem. Also, during this whole beef Yelawolf and MGK had already made a song "Rowdy" together that wasn't released yet and Yelawolf released the song anyway. And obviously Yelawolf could've stopped Caskey from shouting out "Kels" (AKA MGK) if he wanted to and if he thought Eminem would have an issue with it. Just saying...

I liked both songs and liked Eminem’s diss more but really this beef wasn’t as serious as the ones in Eminem’s past so didn’t expect either one to go crazy with some dirty secrets , they both basically said they didn’t like this about each other and boom done with , neither said anything wild , em just the better rapper

Actually his Label dropped a unfinished project called Binge and it was Garbage. He did release Hotel Diablo which was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and had plans to help out Drummer from Blink 182 make a comeback after being in some trauma from surviving a plane wreck.

This whole thing is out of order. There are two more songs before this one. The first song came on Tech N9nes song: No Reason, where Machine Gun Kelly took subtle shots at Eminem. Then Eminem made: Not Alike, off Kamikaze Machine Gun Kelly then went on Insta and popped a bottle of champagne. A few days later came this song. A couple of days later, Killshot came out. As for mentioning Hailey and that tweet, he was referring to the tweet where Machine Gun Kelly said Hailey was sexy when she was about 16-17. He asked that Machine gun apologize to his daughter.

Em fan here. A few things. This track is not trash, if it was, Em wouldn't have responded. Yes MGK still raps, but after killshot, his next two albums were HUGE flops. Sad thing is Hotel Diablo was actually solid. Em stan's over exaggerate when they say Em made MGK switch genres, but this battle did some major damage to MGKs rap reputation. Em haters try to downplay that. MGK gave Em a good shot. Rap Devil was hard, Kill shot was a touch harder, not alike was the hardest of all 3 tracks.
