I really think Conway would be very proud of his son and grandson singing his songs. They do a great job, it might not sound exactly like Conway, but it is a very good representation on Conway's style and sound. It sounds country and that's what I like.
That said, their trying to live off of the back of Conway just like Hank Williams Jr did!! They need to get a life and LET CONWAY'S MUSIC be just that; CONWAY'S MUSIC!!
@@hazelwears8728 Maybe they are and maybe they are not. Maybe they are just trying to keep Conways memory alive. The truth is that you are making an assumption without proof. You should be ashamed of your small mindedness.
One great biiiggg difference, Conway didn't talk much at His shows. Someone ask Conway why he didn't talk more at His shows, His reply-- People didn't come here to hear me talk, they come to hear me sing.
@@hazelwears8728 I find it interesting. If there is no market for it they won't make anything. I think some of them should have had a voice coach because they have some real talent. Conway had a natural gift. Maybe this is why he built Twitty city, for something more than a home for himself.
We just recently saw Michael in concert. And it was not pretty at all! And I do not know how long it has been since you have seen him, but we feel that Conway would be very embarrassed!
To the people who is telling this man not to sing his grandpa songs shame on you his grandpa would be very proud of him he his smiling down from heaven with a big grin on his face and a tear in his eyes for the love he has for this man who is keeping his music alive
@@wildestcowboy2668 Ever hear of 'cover songs' ? Great singer's memories are kept alive by cover songs . We see it everyday on shows like BGT , AGT . How many are still singing Elvis songs ? They can't all be song writers, and many do a fantastic 'cover' of the original performers .
Wow ♥️.. Oh how I miss Conway grew up listening to him and I thank my Dad for it ☺️.. He was a Twitty fan and I am also... I'm now 55 and I still listen to as Dad called him Twitty 🐦
Thank you so much Tre.... I know Poppy is proud of you. I was right there in Biloxi ,MS at that concert... I wasn't the lady on the front row screaming CONWAY.... I was the lady in the balcony screaming CONWAY !!!! It was a WONDERFUL concert and Conway was my favorite... I saw him several times in concert. Even in my hometown of Hattiesburg, MS and got to talk with him... HE WAS GREAT!! ALWAYS LOVE CONWAY ❤
I saw Conway live at the Dodge County Fair. Didn't get to see the whole show because of a severe storm (turned out to spawn a tornado). He didn't leave that stage until he was practically pulled off. He truly didn't want to disappoint his fans. What a performer. Him and Ms. Loretta. What a magical musical duet.
It blows my mind at how much he sounds like his grandfather he would be so proud that he’s carrying on the tremendous amount of talent that his grandfather had it’s almost as though your listening to Conway twitty
I saw Conway live twice when I was a little girl! The first time I saw him his opening act was a very young George Straight! Conway was my 91 year old Mother's all time favorite!!!
Listening to you sing your grandfathers song sounds amazing. It's so inspirational to see you carry on this amazing gift your family has. My family has been teachers for generations. As a teacher myself it is such a gift to be able to keep the tradition alive. Keep doing what you love! You sound amazing!
To Timber man,U said it right,The best Friend A Song ever had & the sexiest man A woman has ever seen & that voice...Awesome, I know his wife was proud...❤️
Really proud of him, he is young give him time. Conway had years of practice and was totally dedicated, which cost him dearly especially in his married life.
I just discovered Tre tonight, I am still a huge Conway fan (lifelong fan, so we’re my Gram and my mother)…I miss hearing new songs from him…Tre sounds so much like his Poppy and I know that his Poppy is smiling down on him!!…I now have a new singer to listen to…Both him and Tayla Lynn!!
When he first started, I thought Conway was off stage somewhere in the background singing. Sounds so very close to his papa that's it's not even funny. I hope he keeps singing songs like this so we can bring back the good country music.
All my life I have been a Conway fan, my daddy called me his biggest fan ever. At 54, nothing makes me weak in the knees like hearing this song. Discovered his music at about 4 years old, sitting in an old honky tonk with my daddy where my mom and her band were performing. Someone played it on the jukebox and I was hooked.
I heard Conway in 1972 at the school on the football field, East Brewton Al and hello darling was his first song, wow what a legend and for his son and grandson to carry on with his legacy is awesome
Lady sitting on row in front of me peed all over herself when he said Hello Darlin’! True story. Happened in Fayetteville, NC when Randy Travis opened for Conway. AWESOME SHOW!!!
Yes he's really sound good I got the first 8-track Pam singing this road that I walk but You Keep On Keepin On it's good to hear good country music now
I had chills from the second he spoke. Conway has always been my favorite since I was a little girl. The day that it was announced that Conway passed, I literally cried. I couldn't believe that he was gone & I would never get to hear a new song from him again. When I had my children years later, I would play Conway's songs while cleaning the house. I would pick my kids up & dance through the livingroom with them. My youngest daughter's first song to sing was "Don't take it away". I still get chills whenever I hear his voice. Conway will always be played through my speakers & through my (now adult) kids speakers.
My parents and several other couples had tickets to see his show. They had just bought me tickets for one of many Michael Jacksons' shows which were a bit pricey! One of the people that were going to Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn show couldn't go. I waa 14 at the time so they asked if I'd go rather than waste the extra ticket. Although I was never a country music fan I went. I knew my mom played his songs all the time...her name waa "Linda"...guess what her favorite song was?!!! Anyway when it was time for Conway come out they blacked out the place and he came out and said "Hello Darlin' "....we were on the floor about 3 rows from the front....that entire place erupted with women screaming and to the right in the balcony...front row...a very large lady wearing a dress proceeded to throw her legs up on the rail and squealed "Conway baby, come and get me!!!" Meanwhile her husband(?), a small guy, was trying to pull her back from the rail..she shoved him right into his seat and yelled it again! This time Conway looked over and up and he got an eyefull!!!!....Conway didn't look back that way the rest of the show!!!! I will never forget that!! Then when I was 20 and in college I had a part time job which took me to several hospitals in the area. I arrived at my last stop early and had to wait about 20 minutes on some paperwork. A gentleman came in and sat next to me in the waiting area and he said "hello." We started talking and he asked about where I was attending school and what I was taking. He asked my name and where I was from. He said he was from out of town and he was there bringing his wifes' uncle (I believe he said) to the hospital when they stopped in to see him and found him very ill! I commented he looked very familar and I asked where he was from and what he did...imagine the look on my face when he told me "I'm Conway Twitty..my tour brought me through the area!! I was like "OMG....I know where I've seen you and heard you...my mothers' albums of you...she loves you....errr...your music...could you please give me an autograph for her? He was super sweet and asked what her name was...I told him Linda!! He signed the autograph...."I'm here with Linda on my mind...Love, Conway Twitty!!!! We sat there and talked about 15 minutes of course I told him about the time I saw him and that my parents had seen lots of his shows. He was a really sweet soft spoken guy and was a nice looking man...I think Tre favors him so much! My mother went ballistic when I gave her the autograph and told her about meeting him! She treasured that autograph for the rest of her life and I found it in her chest after she passed away....I still have it! So that's my Conway story...
I opened for Marty Stewart at the 1st annual conway Twitty memoria festival in Shannon, Ms...believe it was 95. I've got photos and video of Marty and Michael Twitty. I believe I saw Tre walking around that day...he was a teenager I believe
I was so happy when I seen Conway in concert back in 1989 Halifax NS Canada 🇨🇦 with George Jones.I went up by the stage to take pictures and forgot to open my lens cover that’s how excited I was to be there. All the pics I took security guard getting annoyed with me.Always loved him
Conway twitty has always been one of my all time favorite and I had my first child the day he died. I was so heart broken and that was all I wrote in my baby's baby book that day. We lost a national treasure, Conway Twitty, and I have missed him every day since
Well tre your almost there ! But your poppie is one of a kind! I grew up on his music many a nights he soothed my mothers broken heart! Hope you can find that gift from your grandfather! Because Michael sure dont have it! Sorry but I see so much more in you! Long live conway twitty
Tre you can sing good. I remember I got to go see your poppy's last concert that he had in Greensboro,N.C. I've always wanted to meet Loretta but never got to.And now I'd love to meet you, Tayla and Loretta. But my health is to bad for me to be able to travel. And if I could only have one last wish in my life it would be to be able to meet you there. I love to hear y'all sing. Love y'all from Lexington,N.C.
i really do want to sing with him one day as i know a l9ot of conways stuff anyway, man how i hate it that the legend is gone, but we all gotta die someday.
Conway’s son, Mike, is a really good singer too. 👏🏻👏🏻 I went to high school with Mike and knew the whole family. Fine folks, especially his mama. He took really good care of his family and gave them a restaurant / nightclub, Conway’s at Moon Lake, Mississippi.
Conway had a wonderful voice my father passed of the same thing that took Conway. Your grandfather would be proud of you. He's not trying to be his grandfather he's being himself.
WOW!!! YOU HAVE MADE YOUR POPPY PROUD 🤗❤️ HE'S WITH YOU ALL THE TIME 🙏🙏 GOD BLESS YOU FOR CARRYING ON THE TRADITION OF REAL COUNTRY MUSIC AND ESPECIALLY CONWAY'S MUSIC 🎶🎶🎶 HE HAD A VOICE OF PURE SILK THAT WOULD GIVE FANS GOOSE BUMPS DOWN TO OUR CORE🎶🎶🎶🤗❤️🙏 WHAT A GOD GIVEN TALENT POPPY HAD AND I'M PROUD AND THANKFUL GOD BLESSED YOU WITH THE TALENT TOO🙏🤗❤️ THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR BEAUTIFUL VOICE WITH US🙏🤗❤️ A TRULY GRATEFUL FAN🤗❤️🙏🎶🎶🙏 MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY NOW AND ALWAYS 🙏🕊️🙏❤️🤗🙏
He sounds somewhat like him in parts of the song, he has a great voice either way. I'd go see him in concert anytime. There will never be another Conway Twitty.
You sound sooo much like him. And yes I got to set at one of his live Christmas Concerts at Twitty City. He The Rose. With the background all black and one single red rose on it. I lost it and cried for awhile. My mama loved roses. And I saw her that night up in heaven too.
I think he does a good job of sounding like CONWAY ..... although there is only one who can do perfect and that is Conway himself! He was bigger than Elvis to my crowd of high school friends which was class of 1963!!!
Do you sing any original songs? You are doing great but you should do your own stuff because there’s only ONE CONWAY TWITTY! You have talent. I just really appreciate the people that make it on their own and not trying to make it because they use their family ties.
PLEASE PLEASE don’t take this wrong when I say what I’m about to say. Your good sir but I literally loved Conways music and it can never be replaced. I don’t mean that in a bad way toward you but nobody can or will ever be able to sing Conways music. Him Mr George Jones and Mr Charlie Pride we’re just one of a kind that left a mark on me so strong that I can’t ever see anybody doing their music again.
He doesn't have exactly the same sexy husky gravelly voice his grandfather did, but he still honored his PawPaw beautifully. I was raised on Conway, and knew what a "sexy" voice sounded like, wayyy before I ever knew what sex was!! Lol
Tre Twitty Great job I had see Loretta and George and Conway I had taken my parents to the concert my father loves country music I don’t mind some but I’m mostly rock and roll but I truly did enjoy the concert I was glad that I had gotten tickets and you do sound like your grandfather Conway take care and stay safe and healthy during these trying times of the coved virus Love always Patricia xoxoxoxoxoxox
u know I wd love to hear Linda's on my mind's I love all Conway Twitty's song's and wiilie Nelson's songs I love all the old fashion songs from the pass
@Teela Tequila No one needs to ask Loretta or anyone else. Once anyone listens to the song themself, they know what they're listening too. Although he is good, from what I've heard so far, he's certainly not as good as his grandpa.
I seen your grandfather in the 70's at World's of fun in KCMO I saw two shows back to back from show to show he never sung the same song twice nor did he talk he just sung.
Ok Karen calm down. The audience is eating up enjoying the families of these legends and Loretta is totally happy with this as well as I believe his paw paw is in heaven. Go somewhere else troll.
Sounds so much like your granddad. I love it! Mama n Daddy took my friend Michelle Harper n I to see Conway in Rapid City South Dakota in the early 80’s. My first live concert except for Chris LeDoux! My mama loved Conway so much I think my daddy was jealous!
I think Conway would be proud of his son and grandson keeping his music alive they may not sound like Conway but you can tell they are in the gene pool and they are doing it the best way they can their a close 2nd and I don't know why they are not on the radio
Saw Conway twice. The most polished and entertaining shows i've ever seen, country or rock. He stayed until everyone that wanted to meet him and get his autograph had done so. He told my daughter, about 6 at the time, that she was his prettiest fan. He was a gentleman and pure class. I love all kinds of music and have performed some myself, but Conway is still my favorite male singer of all genres.
