I loved this programme back in the day. A programme like this being made now would be amazing, especially with internet connections, wireless abilities, sat nav and satellite navigation innovations, why not!?
If I had been asked to run about with that HEAVY looking box on my chest, I'd have a heart attack just looking at it, jeez, how the hell did Anneka manage to run about with that and not die of exhaustion?! Ok, I get it, she was healthy and very fit whereas I'm about as fit as a rotting corpse lol.
I don't think that Anneka liked these two contestants. She was abit rude to them. Saying she wouldn't like to be on a long train journey with them two. And when she said "what do you mean north "yes? "Is that a direction or not?"!
I have never hered of some of the locations she is is visiting and i have a family association in cheshire which is not that far away Id love to see this on tv now with all the latest technology It maybe they couldn’t afford helicopters as much now so maybe a combination of transport
The camera crew and helicopter pilot did a dry run of the course the day before with the producer to check timings, landing sites etc. Annie stayed behind so she had no idea where any of the clues were.
Does Mr Kipling still make Trifle Tarts? You know, the ones like Bakewell tarts but trifles. I ask because Anneka goes to Bakewell. Where they make the tarts I assume. Not tarts like LILO LIL. That is a lady tart not a cake tart. I hate Bread. The sitcom not the bread. Greetings. I like eatings.
Kenneth Kendall was often quite a stroppy host, having little patience for people whom he thought were not pulling their weight. “Here, have a look through this,” he’d often say, plonking a book in front of some hapless contestant.
