This quirky selection may be deceivingly upbeat at first if you're unfamiliar with it. The funky nature of the Title Theme and World 1 music is undeniably positive, but if I were to make a list of the most over-the-top, in your face, and intricately programed NES music, Treasure Master would be sure to place quite high on it.
Tim Follin masterfully milks the NES sound with deep percussive effects using the triangle wave, and crams in all sorts of intense effects and arpeggios with impressive compositional skill. There's a lot to absorb here.

My favorite track from this game. The first time I heard this a few weeks ago, I was blown away. I knew the NES soundchip was capable, but this was just amazing. Tim Follin is one of my favorite video game composers.

@dudenumber36 Something funny about that. Around :56, this turns into 17/8 time, grouped 4+3+4+3+3. That is the exact same grouping as the first minute and a half of "Changes" from 90125 by Yes, with almost exactly the same rhythm too, just different notes/chords around it.

Bleh, the awesome music that is hidden in awful games that won't get experienced much due to how awful the game can be. I especially love how the track shifts into an entirely diffirent track mid-way and how it still seemlessly loops.

@SgtThom Not really. He stated he never got too immersed in the video gaming world to begin with. I believe that composing for a big name game would have made him internationally famous and would've sparked love for videogames in him. This was not the case; all the programmers that hired him or were friends of him made games ranging from mediocre to absolutely horrible. It's so sad. I would buy a CD with Follin's remastered chiptunes. In fact, I would buy 10.

I definitely remember the old layout of the computer chip level, and yes, it was very easy to beat till the new update made it about several times harder, which I now call it "Computer Chip Overload"
