One Of the first guns you brought up was a pellet pump gun. Made by Crossman. I ha e the same gun here at my house. I've had it since 1981.

I wish I knew when you were in Chicagoland. I'd love to come out and watch, since I've become disabled and can no longer magnet fish myself. I never did find a gun as my bucket list is barely scratched.

The piece you thought was a gear was actually a U joint yoke for a drive line . The shaft part is the part that fits into the back of a transmission.
