That was beautiful.Nature and stunning photography of those majestic families of Cows..the young and old..the cycle of life, from the crabs and shells,to the timeless tombstones..something infinite and powerful about all that raw beauty.Thank you for sharing that..I felt like I was there
Can’t tell you how much I appreciate your videos. So peaceful but exciting at the same time. Never loose the wonderful relationship you have with each other. God bless you both
I fill pretty jars with tiny shells and tie them round the neck with a dried flower and some jute. They look nice in a bathroom or kitchen window sill.
What a beautiful herd running thru…yet a peaceful place indeed…it’s beautiful to see areas of the world still just like this…breathtakingly beautiful….thank you for sharing…. Gail and Alex you ladies are sweet and caring and I love watching your calming videos! God bless and take good care! 🌷
Can't get enough of you 2. I've watched all your episodes and live for the next. Thank you for giving me something to look forward to. As I cant get out like I used to so I journey along with you instead x
Just found you and are enjoying your videos! My wife and I are beachcombers in the states. We love finding fossils near Buffalo as well as beach glass. We are coming to Scotland in May and are hoping to do some mudlarking. Can you recommend some beaches to check out? Keep walking those beaches!
The meat paste jar, in other mudlark's videos they will say they do not like them. Strange but I do I live half way round the world and I have always had one in my home. No idea where it came from. I think of them as survives look at it, it is still whole was there anything else on that beach left whole?. Thanks for the wonderful video.
Ladies you've inspired me as ive got a bag full of different coloured worn sea glass and ive been on a bit of an arts n crafts adventure so im gonna try making a pendant or something with the glass. Love the tower shells 🐚 ❤
Wow, what a magical place! A fitting place for a solstice. Kus are cool, too. I will love seeing castings of those auger shells. I don't suppose you can cast the "skeletal" ones, though they would be incredible in silver. Well, they're just incredible as is, in any case. Thanks for bringing us there.
I love watching you two. Here in nova scotia we don't get those pretty shells and it makes me want to go to scotland to go beach digging and bottle digging. You are so lucky❤
This place is magical. The rock and shell shoreline with all of its textures and colors made a beautiful picture. But my favorite was the large White Bull and the shot of him walking in the water with the rest of the herd. Thanks for taking me along on your journey.
Indeed a beautiful and unusual place. Those spiral shell remains, would make beautiful earrings. I was amazed at how many had gathered in one spot like that. Amazing how the sea gathers similar things together. Like the small metal finds you show us sometimes, on other beaches. The graves were appropriate for watching today. Halloween. Also appropriate for the name of the place. Dead mans cove. Shame its such a gloomy name for such a peaceful and beautiful place. A lovely place to rest your bones though. X
Hola maravillosa familia ,que encanto de lugar ,y muy lindas las conchitas ,también nos gustaría ver cómo sigue restauración de la casa .Bendiciones para ustedes❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hope you had a lovely Halloween dears! Love all those shells! I'd take a bagfull home and make clear "glass" paperweights or a mosaic portrait or something! Love a tiny silver crab claw! Great scenery and Scottish Coo❤
OMGoodness there are so many awesome shells 🐚 😃 I would be going crazy with searching and collecting several for a Mason jar display!! That white bull was massive and muscular 😮
I love the big rocks and the tiny sea shells I would just scoop up hand fulls to bring home. The cows were funny they were in a hurry to get somewhere. Love the video thanks for a great day.
I love that place!! Beautiful place to have a cemetery, although probably hard to dig in. Those shells!! I would have filled jars with them! My 3rd gr grandfather has a stone with the skull on it in Ohio, USA, just like that one!
Lovely video on such a gorgeous day. And what a location, the highlight was the joy the cattle seemed to have walking in the water. We were quite amazed by huge number of shells piled upon the beach; very unusual. Loved the black striped shell you found Gail. I (Ian) checked a map to see exactly where the bay is in Scotland only to find it is a hop skip and jump to Northern Island. Perhaps you could pop across and do a quick lark on their beaches!
What a lovely place for a lark! I think the writing at the bottom of the grave stone might say 'Tempus Fugit' ,which means 'Time Flies', in Latin - and would fit with the hourglass symbol within the engraving
Another awesome video ladies. Thank you! Alex I would def be interested in buying a silver cast of what I call “unicorn horn” shells - would they for sale on your page? xx
I'm watching this after physical therapy. I needed the relaxing calming music and visit with you two dear ladies. What an awe-inspiring place. The music gave me chills in a good way.😂 loved the cattle in the background. Interesting headstones in the cemetery. You'll have to go back again.
Lovely beach-hunt, nice gorgeous shells , crab pinchers and sea-glass. I am sure that you come across the live crabs and sea-animals ...I just hope the sea life died naturally.
Love these bits of Scottish lands. Like who knew your shores had just epic tons of one kind of creature/shell now? I been hearing some terrible things from Scotland recently. Hope you are both well and not in that bubble. Worlds going crazy so keep that head on a swivel!
at 11.06, it looked like a bunch of nudles was emptying out on the beachI am a rock-lover, but I also love shells, so many beutiful around the world, and you did find some really nice ones. Those erroded shells looked like christmas-decorations. Maybe you can cast some of those in gold and use on the tree??A very beutiful lovely place. I shall move in a year or two and it is closer to the ocean, so I hope the beaches around there have glass and shells. Can`t wait to look around there. Thank`s for the tour.
so enjoyed going along w/u to this beautiful beach. so interested to research how the ocean "sorts" sand/shells etc. & deposits on beaches. i grew up on the Oregon USA coast & never saw such an accumulation of shells like that. lucky cows to live free to roam & enjoy nature. thanx
The text at the bottom of the skull and crossbones gravestone at 19 mins appears to say ‘tempus fugit’ which is Latin for time flies. That would make sense with the hourglass.
Hello there. Another lovely adventure, this time from the south west corner of Scotland. At 11:21 you show, Gail, a pelican’s foot. I can remember looking for these shells as a child on the shores of Galloway.
Loved this video. The cows had me giggling. I loved how the mamas went to bring the babies home. That old graveyard would be something I’d have spent lots of time in. It looked fascinating.
What fun...all those shells....I have a couple clear bottles that have a little sand a couple shells a tiny bit of driftwood and a few tiny beach glass pieces, with a cork in top, and a tiny label on the bottle that says "beach front property."
Amazing beach with all of those old rocks, I love the scenery! I was just saying to myself how I would love to go there early in the morning and not go home until right before dark. Scotland is just so beautiful, you have it all there. Beaches and Countryside. Have a wonderful week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
At the 3:36 mark are 2 blue things, one seems to be apottery piece, but the one near the bottom right is just interesting blue.. LOL. So much blue & the Amber colored piece was nice, but no red.. those augers would be petite pendents for bracelets. Thousands & all different.
Hi Alex and Gail, what an interesting place with loads of history we don't know about. I adored those little long shells, where the piles of the same shells were. Would you believe it, l have been trying to get a complete one, just one and as small as is possible to cast up in gold for something l am trying to make. Wish l could go there. Thanks girls for the video. Love ❤ to the critters. Janice. Xx
The grave with the "momento mori" with the leaf is masonic, the acacia leaf used to represent immortality when presented to the grand master. ( I'm not a mason) now😉
I had a great idea for a craft for u ladies. That is if it works lol. Take some of ur glass bottle stoppers and glue/wire rap them to a flat LED stran of lights or if u can drill a little hole on the top for those little LED lights then pop them in the hole and secure them to the stran. Just a thought. Love watching the amazing finds/crafts and most of all love it when u ladies hit the auctions. Can't wait till u ladies find more cool stuff on ur property 😊❤ will be sitting here waiting for the next video to drop.
Those shells were cool so many varieties i really liked the spiral skeleton ones and I'm looking forward to Alex's claw creations that looked like a beautiful spot to just sit and listen to the sea and the coo's thanks for showing us more of your beautiful country Karl from eastern Canada
Those shells can be smashed into like a powder and mixed with clay to make pottery it makes the pottery stronger good finds nice video take care an god bless hi from the USA
Beautiful place to visit, thank you for sharing. Great to see the calm sunny weather after the fierce storm that you have just had. Hope you didn't suffer any damage.
