I absolutely love that you opened a can of beets and ate out of it. Why dirty a plate or bowl? I thought I was the only adult who did that. You often make me smile. Thank you, Amy.
Thank you for your new videos, but thank you for your old videos too! Rewatching your abundantly blessed set is really helping me lately! Helping me find my path as I start stumbling in the word.
You’re definitely a Floridian now, thinking 49* is cold, coming from Michigan originally! Lol. This totally made me smile and giggle a bit. Have a blessed ( and hopefully warmer ) day Amy.
My husband had never had Watergate Salad until we got married. The first time I made it he loved it. I have introduced him to quite a few of those "old fashioned" dishes like that. Such good stuff. Have you ever tried Beef Talerina? It's 1LB cooked egg noodles (or other pasta), 1 LB cooked ground beef, 1 can creamed style corn, 1 can diced tomatoes (drained), 1 LB velveeta cheese (cubed so it melts fast), 1/2 tsp both onion powder and garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Once the noodles and beef are cooked, you just throw everything else in the pot and mix it all together cooking on low until the cheese is melted. We eat it with garlic bread. It is SO good. Plus it's cheap, easy, and feeds a crowd.
Dry the cherries in a towel before topping your dish. Otherwise the cherries seep in to the topping and it shows. Same thing if you add them to a cake batter. Baking days are great. You get everything out once, then put it allaway, once.😊😊. Guess I am just lazy!
Good morning. Desserts looked great today, thank you. I like tc ro pickle my beats, but love them as well. You are brave eating them out of the can. Even washed, they can bleed red. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and I will see ya tomorrow
So enjoy watching you getting back to normal. All my kids are gone and cooking not near as much fun now. Enjoy your kiddos while you can. Love your heart for the Lord Amy and thanks for always sharing HIS goodness. ❤
Its funny you called Wardolf salad thru the whole time you made the Watergate salad even thou you looked it up to find out the correct name of what it was called. Should have put it on screen in print (Watergate Salad) 🤪😜
Love Watergate Salad, I made it all the time back in the 70's and 80's. But of course being in the South I always would use Pecans in it. And my Grandma always had Dream Whip in her cabinet. It was always such a treat when she would let us make it for whatever she had baked.
Good afternoon. Its a sunshine day. God is Good. Did you. see the heck- peeps rice Krispies. Watergate salad mom and granny use to make it for holidays, and weddings. Greek Vanilla yogurt in place of cool whip
I love Watergate salad! I’ve been making it forever. lol My kids and grandkids love this too as well as the strawberry pretzel salad. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas!
@@amymaryon yes it’s the best you make your batter like you would if you were making pancakes. You need oil in your pan you want a few tablespoons I can cook like theee at a time in my frying pan and you cook them just like a pancake when they bubble up flip them it will absorb your oil so don’t be alarmed then lay them on a paper towel to get any excess oil off don’t use olive oil use veggie or canola. And you will want to add a little oil to every batch in the pan bc they soak it up but they don’t taste greasy there so good it’s the only cornbread I like and there even good t room temperature you can freeze them also and just pop them in the air fryer to crisp up
Moving is extremely stressful - it's not just an adjustment to your physical location it's emotionally draining too. I'm so glad you are feeling at home now and have adjusted. It's a tough road - especially to a whole new state and community you are brand new to.

Love your baking day concept. I do have a question, though. As a long-distance grandmother myself, I'm curious how you handle it. You never seem to mention your grandchildren (child?) since you've moved. Do they visit? I find being far away from mine to be quite difficult. I'd love to hear your experience. Thanks.
Thank you ..we are choosing to keep that part of our life private.. I thank you for asking. As with everything in life ..nothing is perfect or easy but you do what you can do in your situation 😉 we have 6 kids at home l...that's a big family still ❤️
Treats look delicious. 😂 5 Waldorf salads aka Watergate salad. Sounds like me. I made that and the waist watchers salad a lot when working in a deli. Love your videos. God bless you all. ❤
