Mind games are not bad... the way how the play is the issue. The kouhai and the maid were doing their job, but the kouhai needed to be direct to help him. The issue is the ex, the way she talked, it implied that she had the intention to pull it.

She either doesn't love you enough to stay with you instead of someone else, or she's a manipulator who will twist a knife in you by playing a game with your love. If a woman says she wants to break up for another reason then perhaps you may want to work on solving the issue. However if she says this without discussing anything about it first then you should consider that maybe she didn't care enough about your relationship to save it with communication in the first place. This means that she MAY be the one to try to get what she wants via ultimatum. The only one that you CERTAINLY should work to stay with is the one who will talk to you about what she doesn't like.
Making a lie about breaking up to test someone's heart is something you should not do to anyone or consider a small matter. It's foul and she pushed the line. You may destroy a person by bringing emotional damage from that. Any reasonable person would not like to be subject to that kind of test, isn't it?

She had the context and everything about him, yet she played with him... she toyed him.... is awful guys, she was the nearest and she destroyed him with her stupid moves. So.. The third girl was only doing her job since it was required of her to act like that. The second girl had to realize that her tsundere act wasn’t cute and has admitted to being a coward when it came to her feelings and that she hurt Yuuta. But the first? She just tried to double down on her mind games, thinking it would push Yuuta into becoming the proactive boyfriend she wanted, fault out refusing to admit her faults.

the first girl has absolutely no sympathy from me, she basically told him she was leaving him for someone better than him and that she had fallen in love with, she played mind games with him and lost him as a result. the second girl I kinda feel bad for since she sort of retreats into a habit of denying things she likes, but come on, you like him, you've seen how he is, and yet after his breakup and for quite some time you constantly belittle him? i know its her bad habit but, that's still messed up. the third girl, honestly she has the most sympathy from me, it was her job to act the way she did, and she likes him so she singles him out with special treatment, she just did the wrong thing at the wrong time, in his mind she said he was less then the other patrons. as for the mc? i kind of feel sorry for him, he's obviously been through a lot, it doesn't help he has a withdrawn personality and is socially awkward. his ex basically put him on this path of being an asshole, he's begun to question if the way he's living his life of being kind is even right since he's alone and was thrown away by her, then you have the kouhai belittle him after his breakup only making it worse, all leading to him snapping at the maid once he's reached his breaking point. as far as my feelings on them go, the ex is trash, sucks that her career could be impacted because of this but she played a stupid game and won a stupid prize, the kouhai needed a smack to the head for acting the way she did but she is redeeming herself by first apologizing and going about things the right way, the maid didn't deserve what happened and should definitely get an apology from the mc, as for the mc himself? he needs some sense knocked into his skull as well as some therapy or something to help him with his obvious issues.
Second girl deserved it too. She was talking trash to mc for half a year and he had to endure it. She started to cry after mc said just a little. I have no idea what is wrong with her mind. Only Maid girl didn t deserve it. She did her job. Also mc knew what kind of place it is since he was going there often. She immediately wanted to talk with him and resolve misunderstanding but he left very fast. So i hope she will win.

MC is basically practicing what alot of young guys are told to act like. Be nice and don't be aggressive, and stay in line. Well, when reality hits them, they'll either grow up to be simps or total red pill, never anything in between, because society has nothing good to say to young men. Period.
Everyone is saying he did good, but I find it sad as they all loved him. I've seen Yandere and mean girls in anime get off far easier and these three just didn't know how much he was hurting and all got hurt worse.

You are being too optimistic. When you're raised a certain way, but treated another, it leaves a mark. He said it himself, only Yui was keeping him together. Her breakup, caused a drastic personality change due to low self esteem etc. If you never experienced it, you have no right to talk. It's that simple. Trying to act like you know things should be done differently, that's not how the world works. The mind is a difficult thing. Learn before you speak.

I turned on the MC as soon as it was explained why he was trying so hard to be kind. It's basically one step below being the Nice Guy™. The Ex, I have no sympathy for. The Kouhai fumbled it badly. The maid was doing her job, but was hit by bad luck/timing.
Anakin’s fall to the dark side was mainly to save Padme from dying (and the under appreciation the Jedi council gave to him also fueled that reason for turning). Padme and him were married and were madly in love with each other, so automatically that has no real correlation to the story being told rn.
MC turns his life around and goes full ballistic on 3 girls who made him feel worse. Reminds me of a story where MC breaks all ties with his toxic childhood friend.
That first couple minutes imitates life perfectly. Have seen people break up and the gal typically comes back with something along the lines of “Why didn’t you fight!?”
