Post operative discomfort and pain is common and very unique to the individual, I would definitely call the surgeon's office and make sure the discomfort your dad is having is expected depending on what the surgeon did :). Good luck
Thanks for this video. My mum was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 T3N0M0 moderately differentiated, PNI(-) LVE(-) BRAF(-), MSS cancer on the hepatic flexure. (28 nymph nodes all negative). Low tumor budding score. We travelled to Taiwan for it to be removed/treated by an excellent team/surgeon. Your video, specifically case 2 helped a lot for us to understand. It was a very difficult, life changing and humbling six weeks from initial scary diagnosis to surgery and biopsy results for us. I think due to my mum's age (74) - chemo was not chosen and close monitoring was advised. Would this also be your advise too?
Thanks so much for sharing you and your mum’s story, I think you made a very thoughtful decision. All of these decisions are so personal and it’s clear that you thought of everything, including your mum’s age, health and ability to tolerate therapy. I really appreciate your feedback.

I second what the with the previous commenter said! Your generosity with your time and knowledge is amazing! Is immunotherapy going to be the way of the future or is it simply another tool in the arsenal for treatment of cancers?
@@citizensurgeon I know two people who have had immunotherapy with a successful outcome. One has unfortunately recently had a recurrence of the cancer but he did achieve remission after immunotherapy when all other treatments had failed. Hoping these wonderful advances keep coming.
