Treatment of Milkhouse Washwaters using a Constructed Wetland 

A subsurface flow constructed wetland system was used to treat milkhouse washwaters and has shown to be highly effective at removing organic matter prior to discharge. The system serves as an efficient and cost effective treatment option for dairy farms.
