This is the disease that I never heard of til I was diagnosed with it. I saw Dr Daley last year and learned so much on living with this. We are watchful waiting for now.
I’m 37 and I’m six months in on the 3 antibiotics daily and because my last sputum sample is still positive to the MAC so now it’s refactory disease and I’m going back into hospital to give ALIS a go , the amikasin inhalation on Friday , because of the cavities it looks like it’s not going to work, I was born with no right pulmonary artery so my right lung didn’t grow, my left lung ended up doing all the work and grew bigger and pushed my heart to the right side next to my shity very small damaged right lung, where this bacteria made it’s home, it’s such a horrible thing to go through,
