In this module, Dr. Jim McKee needs to develop a treatment plan for a new patient with a grinding jaw joint that used to make clicking and popping noises. In this case, the doctor needs to understand the anatomy of the temporomandibular (TM) joints and how to evaluate them in order to help the patient understand risk factors and other treatment options. Throughout the exploration, Dr. McKee discusses normal and commonly seen injured jaw joints and explains how the TM joint condition will impact treatment and prognosis discussions with patients.
