it was an indirect apology and honestly he should be apologizing for the way yg artists have been managed for the past years. they’re responsible for the lack of popularity and growth their artists besides bp currently have bc they rely on outdated marketing & promotions. this whole exclusivity thing, barely giving them comebacks & not letting them interact with groups outside the company doesn’t work anymore nowadays, the competition is too big, ppl will just move to other groups if they don’t get music and they are, which is sad
@@makcouthillI think he was more apologizing for treasure because he suddenly appeared for babymonster, and has introduced every OTHER yg group, but was nowhere to be found during treasure’s debut and throughout the first two years of their career. The fans deserved that apology, especially since it was the fandom who supported the boys when an executive producer should have been fulfilling his role. I doubt he feels guilty at all for the way his groups are handled. But if he is, I hope for bigger and better changes.
Even tho junkyu composed the song, he is outstanding here and he is my bias I need to say: did you sow junhwan lines??? Jihoon singing??? Dodo and hyunk amazing performance?? They are great team all together. Waiting for many junkyu songs in future.
The YG apology was in reference to YG not being able to promote better because he’s been away from the company dealing with his own courtroom battles and stepping down from his CEO position in 2019. It’s not for not caring. He just didn’t have the ability to do any of those things as he was trying to stay out prison. lol It was shocking to see him pop up in the Babymonster videos. It was assumed he had permanently left the company. Now he's back as "Executive Producer".
