Hey Kevin, great video I'm adding that to my place to go. I wanted to give a big thanks to you and your vids and those featured in it because I've gone from green to double black in 8 snowboarding days (span of 2 months) by studying your videos. I'm still developing but would not be where I'm at without ya'lls videos. See ya'll on the slope!
We had a longer winter this season. Spring came and visited last Wednesday and Thursday. It was so beautiful up at timberline. This is my first season and all because of your videos, I can now shred. Thank you so much for your free tips.
I'm going back up to Timberline this Sunday. Not sure how long you guys will be in Oregon. I'd also recommend checking out Mt. Hood Meadows. It's like a half hour drive past Timberline. There's also Mt. Hood Skibowl as well. You pass it before Timberline.
I’ve been riding Timberline all season Kevin! That place is my go to spot! Glad you guys made it up there, maybe if you’re still around Saturday, I’ll see you guys. Love the videos, they’ve helped me progress this season for sure!
Hi Kevin! I love all your videos spec when together with TJ. Always great stuff - I also try to learn from your videos. Great work with the how to vids keep it up please! I also have a camera gear question: Would you write down what kind of stick you using which is strong and also can hold gimbal?(this one is not on your list) I seen you are doing some drone style records as well with that set up. You know what it could be a good subject for one video. I am sure many of us who follow you would be happy for it. Thanks for the answer in advanve! Wish you best riding condition for the spring.:)
It was you guys my son was afraid and embarrassed to say hi and not be you Kevin! At the end of the video our Jeep was in the background! How long you staying in the area my daughters snowboard classes are Wednesday?
gasslighterr meadows is good in weekdays. Otherwise, traffic could be terrible and parking position is so hard to get, especially if it is a big pow day
I am looking into buying my first board, I looked at the size chart and found the right size, but it’s out of stock and has been for awhile. Should I wait for it to be in stock, or is it fine if I buy a size that is about 10-20 pounds more than I am? Sorry if that is worded weird
Since Timberline is flat, you got be aggressive on speed in the trees, otherwise, you may end up stuck many times. It is better for skiers since they have poles
This was monday, and I met you on tuesday. I was a little surprised when you, Garrett and David decided not to take the break you had been planning on, and instead took two more laps with me! I lapped Timberline with the SnowboardProCamp squad! Even though it was a stormy, low light kind of day, and basically raining, everybody was in a good mood, just happy to be on Mt. Hood. What a cool experience. You guys were so relaxed and fun to shred with! Garrett was modest about Ullr but it's such a cool app! Can't wait to see where it goes, and same for Kevin and this channel! if you get a chance, hit me with that selfie on IG: alecauld
I KNEW I SAW YOU!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO SAD I DIDN'T GET TO SAY HIIIIII !!!!!!!!!!!!! I EVEN TOLD MY BF I WAS LIKE, DOOD I THINK THAT WAS KEVIN THE SNOWBOARD PRO CAMP GUY!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WERE WALKING THROUGH THE LODGE BY THE SHOP !!!!!!!!! DAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG IT'S OKAY THOUGH !!! YOU TAUGHT ME SO WELL, I JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU IN PERSON AND GIVE YOUA HUG AHAHAHAHAH
hey kevin, i've got a question, do you think it is possible to strap your back foot to the snowboard whilst in the chairlift? Don't you think it would make getting out a lot easier for begginers?
Can you imagine the damage if the front lip got caught on the bump before exiting it would destroy your ankle among other things! I would not be giving this a go haha just let the chair push you down the hill and coast till ur clear of others !
From Denmark, but no mountains there. I live in Poland in Ski mostly here and Slovakia, so its not a big surprise to me that I haven´t seen conditions like these. I just jealous :-)
Søren Hindsgaul ah, the polish/Slovakian high tatras. I love that place for hiking. Never snowboarded there. Im originally from southern Poland, about 1 hour from the tatras, but I usually go in the summers. Here in the north Eastern United States our conditions can be hit or miss too, nothing like what they have out west. We got lucky with miracle March, had 7 feet of snow in less than 2 weeks. Thats like 2.5 meters of snow
No way man! What are the odds. That´s cool. I live here in Southern Poland for 6.5 years now, great place. And indeed, the place is fantastic for hiking, better then for skiing. Wow thats amazing! When you say North Eastern US, is that like Vermont and that area? I lived in Ohio for a year, and people did mention ski resorts in upper New York, Vermont and so on. Never been though.
Søren Hindsgaul yes, upstate New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine have the really big mountains and resorts. Each of those mountains have about 100 skiing trails each. In Poland I have an apartment in Nowy Sącz. I was actually there this past August. I actually made a hiking video of me doing the entire ORLA PERĆ. First time doing it, what an intense hike . The video is on my other channel here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SSuDA-X_ToY.html
