You did a beautiful job on this and the other variations of this design. It's just lovely. Twice I have tried to make this design but have not yet succeeded. I gave up mostly because I want to do a variation on the original pattern, too, but don't have the patience to work out the whole design. I know. I was not being very wise, to put it mildly. As I watched this video I just thought that I should do a single practice swatch first, with only the motif alone, just to get the hang of it. That would help. What I'd like to do is a more natural variation, in which the pattern is staggered and in which I use variations on that actual pattern, too, sometimes only doing one tree, sometimes doing three together, as well as doing the standard, two trees. I will have to work on this again, once I catch up on all the projects I am currently planning. It will be a while as I have enough work to keep me busy for two years right now. But your variation reminds and inspires me to try again. Thank you. Also, I too, love Caron Simply Soft. It's one of my favorite yarns. I used it last year to make sweaters for a couple who are friends of mine. I also like Herrschner's Worsted 8. (Herrschner's is a very old craft supplier from the mid-west of the USA. They have their own website and often have "free shipping on orders over $35" deals.) I love their worsted 8 because it is reasonably priced and long lasting. Also, once you wash it, it is VERY soft.

Hi Olga. What a gorgeous color you chose for the blanket. It looks so striking in your bedroom (which is also very lovely 💖). He did right by you giving you the extra $$. And I love how you just did the two side panels before the full border. That would have been my choice as well (although I have been criticized in the past for doing that, people commenting that it is “not proper” 🙄) I know there are people who swear by Caron Simply Soft and I know you have used it in a lot of projects. I have tried it in the past and I love how well it takes the stitch. But I also find that my finished rows begin to “stretch and halo” ( for lack of a better term-I wish I could attach a picture of the baby blanket I’m making with this CSS yarn base. You would see what I mean.). It’s from all of the turning and rubbing against me or the table and gravity starting to take over every time you do have to turn the project. Am I making sense? And I start to lose my love of this yarn base. I’ve heard other people say the same thing. Do you find this happening when you use this yarn base? And my final question: Have you started taking members again? I saw a good number of member badges. I would love to continue my support of your channel 😋 Thanks again for another great video. 🌻❤💕❤🌻
