It certainly can be! Having a point of reference on the puller really helps me to know where the jaws are. Cedars don't seem to matter much with regards to moisture. They pull pretty easy either way. Other species seem to vary from one tree to the next and especially with ground moisture conditions. This of course depends on the soil type in a certain area. I have mostly sand and some clay areas.
I have a very similar tree puller, but mine doesn’t have the push bar. Once I finish my shop, I will definitely be modifying it and adding one. We have a Kubota M108X. Do you have a 3rd function remote or do you use one of the rear remotes?
Nice! I do like having the bar on it. I installed the Z80 size third function kit from Summit Hydraulics. I think its rated for up to 21 GPM if I remember correctly. It’s been working great. I’m actually thinking of doing a review on it and show how I hooked it up. I installed it right before I started uploading to RU-vid.
Burning them. But I would like to have a chipper so I could use the chips in my garden or for compost. Most of these are too big for chipping except for the limbs.
