I have no none locking gear on my belt too easy to accidentally clip into something like a rigging line which of course could be catastrophic. I do use a carabineer on the end of my rigging line and tie off with appropriate knots IF necessary . I know this is not by the book but neither is coming down with your rigging line tied to a large piece of tree 🙂 Thanks for the videos I enjoy watching and appreciate the time and effort you put into making them 🌞
If this is what you are thinking about while doing tree work. Why are you doing tree work. You are scared a non locking carabiner will snag something.???? I’m sorry and I hate being in any situation in which I’m judging someone, but that’s so soft! You literally use a chainsaw that can kill you every day on the job with one fuck up.
