Good video! I had a friend of mine at my job a few days ago about the tree swallow and she commented how they can fly upsidedown I think. My mom bought me flashcards on birds across the U.S. for Christmas and I showed her the tree swallow flash card!!! Happy New Year 2024 and God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit bless each of ourselves and everyone that surrounds each of us unconditionally and always!!!!! 🙏💞💓💗💕🕊️👻😇♥️🙌🎊
Your video is excellent. Nice seeing these swallows up close and seeing the contrast between their white bellies and blue/green that looks like metallic sheen.
Bonjour Dominique, merci infiniment pour ton film, elles sont adorables ces hirondelles... c'est le Printemps ! Je te sougaite un heureux Week-end de Pâques... Mes amicales pensées.
I have a pair that have built a nest in a bluebird box attached to my barn aproxemently 14 or 15 feet in the air. A group of 6 to ten were checking it out the second week of April. 2 have built a nest and have been coming and going since. I noticed one enter the box at dusk. We are located in East tennessee ,rural area , woods and rooling Hills.
Great !!! Very interesting, ou will be able to see the evolution of the nesting of this bird. Here is a link of range Map of Tree Swallow : www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Tree_Swallow/maps-range
Did you know that a tree swallow house needs to be twice the size of a bluebird box? Why? Because they lay up to 8 eggs per clutch and with not enough room in the bluebird box, some babies will either grow with deformities or will die due to being smothered by others.
