The upper crown of the Giant Sequoia is a tangle of towering vertical trunks, dense frawn-like leaves, and hanging branches that never ends. I'll never forget these flights.
To get the first and last flights I mounted a camera at 85° and learned to fly 'on my back.' It's strange at first but I came to love the breaking power of gravity and seeing the forest in a totally new way. Maybe there will be vertical races up the sides of skyscrapers one day.
Thanks to Ben Shepard for once again capturing the way it felt to fly here in another original song for the video!
