I have many Trefl 9000 piece puzzles on my wishlist, but I've never seen this one before. It's beautiful! Can't wait to see your videos for this puzzle. Most large puzzles has smaller pieces. Personally I don't mind the smaller pieces.
Hi Izebelle! What a nice surprise to see your comment today, thanks for taking a few minutes of your time! Glad to know you have a few of their large counts too and great to know you find this one new to you! Wishing you a great weekend.
Wouw wouw - that is a BEAUTIFUL puzzle. I am really looking forward to follow you solving it. I have 2 of the big Trefl puzzles, one is 13500 and one is 9000 pieces. I have started on the 13500 piece puzzle and i do it in sections. I had the same problem with the loose pieces, but i guess i will find the missing pieces to each section at the end. But i have decided that when i start the 9000 piece puzzle i will put all the loose pieces in a seperat bag, so i can sort them out for every section when im done with one. I really like the quality though. I saw they just released a new REALLY beautiful 13500 pieces puzzle too, that i need to buy.
Hi PipsDK! Thank you so much foe your valuable feedback! Great to hear these kind of puzzles are familiar to you too! So nice! I’ll definitely remember your take on the loose pieces! Im hoping this wont be an issue! 😁 13k pieces!? Omg! Thats so big!!
Ric , yes that is a lovely puzzle, good luck building it. looks like you may have to refer to the image on this one... looks tricky...I hope you frame it. I have mixed feelings if doing a large puzzle one bag at a time is cheating... per bag is not really doing a 9000 piece puzzle.. but yet mixing them would be so challenging... another channel Puzzle Me This mixed a 42000 piece over a year ago and he is still working on it..... Posting videos on this one once a month is fine.... it is beautiful, I hope you enjoy doing it...Good Luck!!!!
Hi Kathy! Indeed i agree with you, it’s such a mixed feeling for me too, why say it’s a large puzzle if they are independent images joined together?! To me it doesn’t really make much sense haha. So in a way we have all sorted the largest puzzle on earth 😂 just need to glue them side by side done! 😂😂 I think for me, if theres one image and thats the puzzle to solve, that would make it the true challenge not many puzzles joined by a frame 😂. Ut anyways i lived this, the image looks so beautiful doesn’t it! I know the guy, i follow him too! I wasn’t sure what the story was but now it makes perfect sense!
That puzzle is gorgeous, but I think I’d a) not have space to do it and b) the patience to do one with so many pieces. Definitely don’t destroy it when you’ve done it. If you have space I’d frame it.
That’s an amazing puzzle. Are you going to do it individually or one full 9000 puzzle? Either way, it will be so much fun. Sending you hugs my friend. 😘
Yay! I don't think any puzzles are a waste of time. Everybody's puzzle tastes are different and valid! That's a cool map, i've been watching a bunch of astrophysics videos on RU-vid so i think it's great. Once again though, i probably wouldn't buy it myself just because it looks VERY CHALLENGING :O Super challenging! But also fun looking because it looks like you could learn a bunch about constellations.🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌 Looking forward to your next video and thanks for sharing your puzzles with us on the RU-vids 😁🎉🧩🎉🧩🎉🧩🎉🧩🎉🧩🌌🧩🎉🧩🎉🧩🎉🧩🎉🧩🌌🧩🌌🧩🌌🧩🎉🧩🎉🧩🌌🧩🌌😁🎉🎉🧩🧩🌌🧩🌌🧩🎉🧩🌌
I ordered the Trefl 9000 piece Marvel Avenger puzzle and the piece size was the first thing I noticed. I haven't started it yet but I'm not looking foward to squinting at the small pieces. Also, when I opened my box one of the bags was slightly ripped and pieces were scattered throughtout the box, so hopefully no pieces are missing. But other than that they seem to have some very nice images for their 9000 piece puzzles. Enjoy!
hi Sandra! omg so nice to hear from you, what a nice surprise! I know exactly the puzzles you are referring to, so colourful as well isn't it! it dies seem like the plastic bags inside rip apart real easily and we are not the only ones facing this major issue haha - I was not planning on mixing the bags at all hehehe
Oh wow, I'd actually be to fit this puzzle on my table! (It's 1x2 meters) 8O I can't event fit a 5000 piece Ravensburger on it! I'll have to look into large piece count Trefls it looks like. That's an interesting puzzle, looks very doable ^.^
hi Amanda! thats great to hear, and hey thanks for the great feedback by the way! this is a nice pule indeed and if you have the space, why not! glad to hear from you today :-)
oh nooo! yes indeed it se4ems like this is a recurring issue with their flimsy bags - which as a result is so not good for our sorting! oh my... imagine solving it from the mixed bags hahaha
It’s not really cheating, it’s only cheating if someone else does the puzzle for you. The white boarders breaks up the illustrations makes easy to figure out but will have to wait and see the finished product. Which brings to my question what is the hardest puzzle you’ve done?
Hi there! Oh thanks for your input on this one, nice to have different opinions here! Musical notes, 1000 by piatnik is by far the most difficult puzzle i ever ever done. Took me 2 months. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uQALmhg_mOI.html
I solved a 1,000 piece TREFL Prime and I was very pleased with the quality of the pieces. I don’t think I’d ever get more than 2,000 pieces but you never know. So far, the largest I have enjoyed is 1,000. I’m not into those maps but that’s just individual preference. Enjoy your new puzzle!
hi HazletNj! great to hear from you today! thank you for the input, always appreciated! I was like you until not too long ago, I only recently completed my first ever 3k pieces - and that was a big challenge already heheh but we get used to the large counts real quick! or whichever makes you happy! if 1K are good for you, then stick with them :-) thanks again for tuning in!
This looks really interesting, it's unusual for big puzzle to be able to put the parts together in any order and add to other puzzles! Should be super fun .
Hello there! Indeed so unusual isnt it?! Id never heard of that new technology but seems it is valid for trefl puzzles! It would probably be fun to create a frame around this puzzle using other images 🤗🙏
Hi Ric, loved this puzzle, cant blame you for buying it. The theme is nice, the puzzle seems high quality. - whats to complain abt right? Treat yourself!
I had Trefl 13500 pieces Prime UFT, Golden Age of Disney puzzle from the same collection (unlimited fit) and loved it, no issues with quality, print or anything else. Loved putting it together in January this year. I didn't glue it since I usually sell/donate puzzles after solivng, so my box is already sold but loved it so much I'm considering ordering other puzzles from that collection. Enjoy it!
hi Doris! wow thank for the super valuable feedback on trefl! 13500 pieces, indeed -0 I know exactly what puzzle you refer to! so cool and hey thanks for the comment, really nice to have you here.
That's a beautiful map!! I hope you do a section soon, I really like Trefl and I've done 2 of the 9000 pc so far. I really enjoyed them!! I also wish they had used the normal size pieces, but it was so fun I didn't mind. And those bags are horrible! Seems everyone has at least one open bag. I hope they fix that!! Let us know what ypu think 😊
Hello Suzie! So nice to hear from you again, indeed those bags omg…im worried and ll have to solve a 3k pieces first 🥲 instead of only 1500, which in itself will probably be very difficult! Great to hear you completed their puzzles too! Would tou share which they were? Just curious!! Same here, the pieces do t bother me much but it would be fun to have the final puzzles nice and much larger too 😁 the size of each piece should bot be compromised this much bit i guess it all depends on the printing machine size..i assume is itsnt cheap 😂
Hi Suzie! Yes i have seen it, it looks unbelievably beautiful! I just checked here, it costs usd500+ here plus shipping though 😂 i might have to skip that one until i win the lotto 😂
That puzzle is gorgeous! It looks pretty difficult too, with the colours being so similar all over the puzzle, you'll have fun doing it! 😃 I just finished my biggest puzzle so far, a 3000 piece Schmidt old world map from 1720, it was pretty difficult, but fun to do, New Zealand was still called 'Nova Zelandia' and Australia was part unmapped. (And still called 'Nova Hollandia,' actually Australia was the easiest part of the puzzle because every puzzle piece where I saw a Dutch name was in Australia. 😄 It was fun to do but I dont think I will go bigger than 3000.
Hi Nina! Thanks for watching 😁👍🏻 i just googled the schmidt puzzle, looks really beautiful, with strong purple colours in the center circles is that the one? I know what you mean about trying much bigger puzzles. - once you reach that threshold you really feel like theres no more limits (at least changing your mind about big puzzles) , of course 300s, 500s, 1ks… will always have precedence but once you have the trill of completing bigger puzzles, you need more! Cant blame you. Well thanks for tuning in today Nina, really cool to hear from you!
@@RicPuzzles Yep thats the one! The original map is not so colourfull that was just done for the puzzel (I think), it did not say who drew the map but the original (black and white) one is in the London Library, if I am ever there I will surely check it out! 🙂 I feel like I know every square centimeter of that map now. 😃
@@NinaW1n oh nice! Yes please do check the real puzzle image if you have the opportunity! I just a Bruegel / Breugel the younger’s painting in an art gallery, and it was the same image as a puzzle i completed many years back. - it’s such an emotional feeling! Haha knowing every part of the map - thats what makes them so special isn’t it?! In a way i think, we end up becoming quite knowledgeable about the subject we are puzzling about eh! 😁 thats the beauty of it, in my opinion! Ive learned more from puzzles than at university 😂 thanks for the reply by the way! What is your new puzzle about? Heres a little fun fact: i started 2 puzzles and gave up , too blurry…now im doing a 3rd one that is completely different to any other puzzle ive ever completed before!! (Top secret for now!) ehhe
@@RicPuzzles It really feels like you know the puzzle, right, like when you finished a book and you know all the charchters that are on them, and the surroundings. And with the big puzzles you just spend so much time with them... its a bit of a weird feeling when they are done then I always think. I agree we learn so much from puzzling! My next puzzle is 'the beachcombers companion' from Galison, so I already know I am going to be looking up a lot of information about the shells, why they are shaped the way they are or about the animal that lives in them. Its so much fun to learn about all different kind of subject so naturally, just because you just háve to knów! 😂 I am very curious about your top secret project then haha, guess we will just have to wait and find out. 🧐
@@NinaW1n oh my, you read my thoughts! I couldn't agree more with you. there are so many things that go along with puzzling isn't it! thats why I love taking a lot of time with them, it also makes me so sad when they are finished...like that favourite tv series we binge away and is suddenly finished, the plot revealed, and there's only good memories left! so nice to know another puzzler diving into the puzzle just like me! Thanks Nina for the really positive input!
Hey Ric, 9000 pcs! Do you have a table that big? If not, Karen Puzzles has some tips on how to extend your working surface. I don’t think I would ever attempt to take on that kind of challenge, even if the puzzle is divided in several sections. And then you have the odd ducks who say that, to claim to have finished a high count puzzle, you should mix the bags before starting. To each its own, I guess. // Tess
hi Tess! thanks for tuning in today, really appreciate it! :-) I do have the space for large puzzles but I'll check out on ideas indeed. Thank you for enjoying this today, really nice to have you here for another video :-) hell no! I would never mix the bags hahah thats insane! I would take a million years hahaha - but if you do complete it in sections, then it should be a more achievable goal I think! do you mind if I ask what was your largest so far? Thanks again Tess!
@@RicPuzzles Thank you as well, sure thing, in February we finished a 3000 pcs monster called A Magic Mystery Tour of 100 Beatles Songs (catchy name) by the American artist Tom Masse. Good quality, a lot of fun, but a rather fuzzy image with large swaths in different hues of brow. A true challenge that had me climbing the table to get a better view of the pieces’ shapes (I’m rather short). Last year, and just for kicks, we bought a HEYE (German brand) 4000 count by the Argentinian cartoonist Guillermo Mordillo. The puzzle is called Crazy World Cup and I love it, but I wonder if we’ll ever take it out. Check it out to see why 😉
Hi Tess! Oh so sorry I’m sure i replied to your comment but seems it vc didn’t go through 😅 i know exactly the puzzles you are referring to! Both look very cool i have to say, i thought about getting the Beatles at one stage but ended up giving up, maybe just maybe ill get it one day?! Sure looks challenging too!! Yep i have s few heye puzzles here too, yet to be revealed in a future video 😅 the crazy world city.. oh my, it is a challenge isn’t it? I have a similar puzzle by holdson called I love gardening, the artist is Mike Judd. Really challenging 1000 pieces, i can only imagine how difficult a 4k one would be like !! Did you take forever to complete it?
@@RicPuzzles We worked on the 3000 pcs Beatles puzzle for six weeks (mostly in the evenings), with pauses to walk off the frustration with all that brown. 4 fifths in, we rolled up our sleeves and fought through the pain until the last piece. After which we danced a jig and had a couple of brewskis (the good stuff 😀🍻). The 4000 count Heye will stay in its box until a rainy day when I feel like punishing myself.
😂 yeah same here this 3K took me a month exactly, doing little by little after work and on weekends when my other chores and life allowed me to. So worth it though! Oh i cant blame you for keeping the Heyes for another day, haha i can only imagine!! Good on you for finishing your Beatles puzzle, it looks fantastic
