We recently purchased a Trek CarBack radar and red blinky light for my wife's Domane. She is deaf in one ear, and this has really helped her notice when a vehicle is approaching from behind.

There is no way to reposition radar with given mount... I did not know about the other opinions... Sadly it consistently disconnect four to five times from my igpsport 630 unit on every ride...maybe it is different for others...

We were able to mount it to my wife’s saddle with a saddle camera/light mount from K Edge, and then the Trek Blndr mount for the radar that attaches to the K edge. It works great, but I do wish Trek just made a standalone saddle mount for it. Sorry about your connectivity issues. Hopefully someone at Trek can lend a hand.

@@BradyLikesBikes trek does make a stand alone clip for the saddle bag. If you have a bontrager saddle bag, there is a clip you can buy that attaches to the back of the bag. The carback then slides into the clip and hangs on the back of the bag.

@@dereknelson2756 thanks for the info! We don’t use saddle bags though as our Domanes have that sweet in frame storage on the down tube. I was a little leery of it at first but it’s AWESOME! And so is the Car Back radar. It’s been a good month now and we really appreciate the alert it gives us when there’s a car approaching.
