Trek to the top of Dudhsagar Waterfalls | Dudhsagar Falls | GOA 

Refer to the map for clear guidance for reaching the nearest village to Dudhsagar ie., village named Kuveshi. From here it's a 3-4 Kms walk through the jungle. Some areas you find only grassy area which will very much picturesque immediately after the monsoon. Village people will guide you. one can take help of local children to guide you to the top of the waterfall. We went all by ourselves. We checked all the diversions with the use of www.wikimapia.org. thanks to google. One has to carry food items/water bottles along with them. For small streams bridges are under construction. At one bigger stream you have to cross it with your vehicle. This point is around 1.5 kms before Kuveshi. If water level is high then you have start walking from this point itself. It will add around 3.5 kms more to your trek trail. Vehicles will be taken upto 2 Kms further from Kuveshi the point is marked in the uploaded map. During trekking one has to cross the stream once again by the man made wooden bridge built over a tree or walk in the knee deep water. Walking on the bridge is very adrenaline pumping. This is built by the villagers and the local trek organisers. Many places direction poles are visible. We spent around 2 hours on the top of the waterfalls. The view of the railway track from the top is awesome.
