TREKING FROM LEH TO PHYANG CROSSING 5000 METER PASS 

This hike start from Leh Gyamtsa, north of Leh which is about 3kms from city center. When you will reach the starting point, you have to walk through the valley for 2-3 hours. On the way you will witness some wild flora and fauna. Gradually ascent to Gyanis la (about 5000m) through the valley. After reaching the pass, you will have mesmerizing view of Indus valley and Ladakh Range. You can also see how the main path to pass Lasermo La rises through the way. As this trek/hike is moderate to difficult, you have to take pack lunch along with water bottles. After the pass descend towards Murubook. Duration of the trek will be 7-8 hours.
