Why is this not alternate picking? Isn’t alternate picking the same thing where you stroke up and down a string for quick runs? Is there a difference I must know cause people at my school are talking about it

The harder ur pick is the easier it is to tremelo pick

does it actually depend on how thick your pick is? im using 0.73 mm to 1 mm
