Because he's not there to get them convicted or free them. This is what you call "filler". The FBI puts people like this on the stand because it gives them a few weeks to get their REAL EVIDENCE together. He's being interviewed as a youtube personality, so the jury has already been instructed that "This guy is giving his opinion. He's supposed to be an expert on Chicago gang politics, but don't let this testimony decide whether they're guilty or not."...The FBI is always getting their evidence together, so they use this as a way to buy a few extra weeks. It's not even snitching because he's there as "Swipper from RU-vid", not a witness to a m*rder. OBlock got in trouble for being a criminal enterprise, and in these cases, u always have entertainment like this for the jury. But it's not meant to be real evidence and the court tells the jury explicitly "This is just testimony that doesn't really mean anything". Phone records, fingerprints, video evidence, ballistics, etc is the real evidence...this is just filler.
