That's why most filipinos dont get easily impressed by beautiful voices cause we often hear it in every corners of our streets..it's just like so common here

@@nosyajcastro9002 Black people have amazing voices if they know how to sing. Tone-wise they are better, yes, but "collectively"?? I doubt they have the same amount of people that can sing like how PH has. Here, literally everyone can sing, probably a 1% margin of error, NOT everyone had good tones tho. Most grew up on Karaoke culture in every corner of the streets, even inside their houses. Majority has a sense of pitch.
I vibe the most when I hear people who just sings for fun, especially if they don't care about their voice control or the right notes 😂 I always shout "kaya mo Yan kua, ibuhos mo na lahat-lahat"😆👍
That’s really nice! I used to work odd hours in a lonely section of a factory and would sing to entertain myself. It was always a little awkward when people would wander into my section (like they walked in on something kinda private) but that might have been my reaction to being overheard when I thought I was alone. Looking back I miss being in a workplace where I could just sing for fun without bothering other workers.
I don't know why Filipinos love singing (I'm in Philippines too), if we don't have money we just join in singing contest just to buy food. But nowadays it's very hard to compete with my fellow filipino singers coz they are so incredible. I won once
I have never tried singing on stage but I love singing I am filipino to but I moved to ireland I am gonna move back to philipines when I am older but anyways she is really good at singing
I wonder the exact same too!! I’m Filipino and I love singing- I also remember my last choir class had a few Filipino students but DANG THEIR VOICESSS😫
Filipino Ironic attitude. When your friend asked you to sing but you're too shy and decided to go with the flow. Then after one song, you don't want to share to others the microphone anymore. 😂😂
If you're in the Philippines, don't be afraid to sing whether you're good or not just enjoy it you'll see people may laugh but not to ridicule but to vibe and have fun with you. They'll even push you to sing more. ☮️💝
True, when someone is singing and they get embarrassed because of a voice crack, the people will laugh and automatically cheer afterwards encouraging them to continue ✨
@@melly_chi you should do a typical drunk karaoke strolling. so 2 years back I want to be hammered shit from work. I saw two Pinoy's drinking and taking turns hoarding the mic for themselves, and I was like "hey! mind if I squeezed in for the fun?" they both look at each other and smirk as there drooling from the severe intoxication of 2 boxes of Beer had been spent. and I took my shot on singing ricks astley's iconic songs "together forever" and Rick roll. long story short we three had been friends till now doing casual weekend karaoke strolling while heavily intoxicated looking for places to crash with karaoke machines
Well that’s how we all start. We will build your confidence even if you’re not good. That’s how you discover your talent in singing like you don’t even have any choice hahah!
They said Filipinos are good singers because of the daily/weekly singing of national anthem in our schools. Singing our national anthem is not for the weak-hearted people.
One time when we went to a small town fish market someone started singing "pag maputi na ang buhok ko," then almost everyone around us joined the singing and humming... I felt like a disney character at the opening of Beauty and the beast.
Caregiver ako sa ibang bansa at napapaiyak ko mga alaga ko pagkumakanta ko and if that happened wala ng hahawak na mic na kahit na sino pang lahi. Kaya mahal ako ng mga matatanda sa trabaho ko.
@@bunnierabbt Exaclty! Even if some Pinoys don't sound too good while singing _(it's like finding a rare Pokémon whenever we hear bad singers since most of our "bad" is decent enough not make ears bleed, Lmao),_ we still sing our hearts out like it's the end of the world!
OMG this is so true even if they sound like a dying cat they grab the mic and sing their hearts out! Lol I love it!!! I'm 1/4 Pinay and there is always karaoke in every party we ever had or attended! Whether it's a baptismal or a Pacquiao fight watch party karaoke is a must! My brother even had a Karaoke party after his wedding reception! Non pinoys were confused but the pinoys sang until 3 am 😂😂😂
@@Beehking233o yes!! Can't have a Pinoy party without it! Our neighbor just threw a Halloween party for adults with karaoke. I'd say they probably invited all the Pinoy nurses in the city and sang all night. What's more Pinoy than that 😂
I can feel you.. I can't reach those really high notes.. and it get's me to question my self being a part of my family coz they can sing well other than me and our youngest.. 😂😂
Feel yah...my mom, papa, younger bro and sis, they can sing well.. My young sis sing aegis' songs .. My young bro sing sheryn regis' songs.... OMG they can dance and play guitar, organ and drums, too... Now I'm thinking 🤔🤔 if I'm adopted 😂😂😂.. Kidding... I'm proud of them
As a Fil-Am in America, I can’t go to a karaoke bar where most of the people are Filipino. Nope! Not even in America! The original Filipinos are too intimidating with their singing skills. I’m just trying to sing like I’m in the shower. How you gonna expect me to go after someone who sounds like Whitney Houston?! C’mon, now!
I think this is one of the reason why philippines has a higher standard in terms of singing. Yes u might have a good voice but it's not remarkable or unique and u can hear it from just everywhere even n the streets or maybe not?
Well this happened to my circle of friends, my korean friend asked me to sing and I declined because I said I can't sing but he forced me and said to try at least, so when I sang they were all surprised and said that my rapping is superb although I dont consider that a professional singing 😅 I mean I can sing but I dont see myself singing like professionals do 😅
When in adversity sing it, that's one character of Filipino resiliency. Still able to smile though life gets tough. God bless Philippines, In Jesus Name🙏❤️
All singers in the Philippines idolize the one and only The QUEEN of all divas in the Philippines, the Asia's SongBird or Asia's Legendary Songbird Regine Velasquez! ❤️🇵🇭 She's now 50+ years old and still Reigning 👑❤️🇵🇭
I agree she paved and made singing a challenge or a sport now look at us... Sa sobrang galing di na tinatangap sa iBang bansa natatkot baka puro Pinoy na Yung singers 😅
Filipinos love singing I hear my neighbors sing every week or every 3 days (I'm a Filipino and I'm from Philippines) we sing once a week and every birthdays!! I always sing in my room when no one is around I sing a lot of Korean songs like k-pop songs
I’m a terrible public speaker but put me on a stage, in a sports bar or whatever, and I will sing like I’m on The Voice trying to get into Team Sarah or Lea
I'm actually questioning myself sometimes when I hear others sing because they have beautiful voices and I really don't have such. In these moments I wonder if I'm really a Filipino or not hahahaha.
Singing isn't just a talent among Filipinos. It's tradition, It's Part of our lives. Even those who can't sing Sing their heart out. Just like how much We love Basketball and Boxing, We Love to sing, wether we know how to sing or not
Best singers are found in streets and sometimes found singing in Karaokes during local celebrations and parties. Having this kind of voice is just very common here in the Philippines.
I don't know why Filipino's are marked as good singers in most videos from foreign people, when me as a Filipino myself, I know a lot of people in my circle that are actually bad at singing... I'd rather say that most Filipino's "loooooove's" to sing, no matter how good or bad at it we are and we sing a lot, than marking us as good singers... 😅
If you want to find best singers or dancers, go to the Philippines. There plenty of people with good talent you looking for. If looking for beauty, go to India because their beauty so amazing :) well, i am not from Philippines or India, but this 2 countries they are amazing on talent and beauty.
No worries, not all Filipino are like that. Take me as an exception 😂. But it's always okay to sing here. No exception for that. Specially in some various occasions.
