Milk Bomb
This mochi with pastillas filling is really good! It is a Filipino version mochi with different colors and flavors; it has a chewy-soft exterior, has a melty pastillas filling and coated with desiccated coconut. This dessert is so simple to make and it is worth your time.
Mochi:
500g glutinous rice flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup white sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup cooking oil
food color and flavor
2 cups desiccated coconut
Pastillas:
1 cup evaporated milk
150ml condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp margarine
1 1/2 cups powdered milk
