Going through the comment section, it is obvious most Nigerians are not politically educated. Not up to seven comments that reflects political consciousness, which is worrisome. A governor built a legislative quarters for lawmakers is same thing as saying Wike built houses for his friends who are political elites. The essence of governance is to provide good healthcare, education, security, social welfare and infrastructure for the people. In the absence of any of the above mentioned is a failure of governance. Nigeria is a republic, which means that power belongs to the people, but the people have been denied the benefits of their power because of Democracy. This is the reason why I personally do not believe Democracy is the political system that can deliver good governance to the people because it only benefits the political and business elites who happens to be the minority in the Nigeria populace.

What about the other projects Wike has provided that benefit the people. Do you want me to mention them or you just want to criticise at all cost? So you consider yourself more politically conscious whereas others aren't. This is the audacity with most of us thinking we are always better than our neighbours, classmates, community members, etc. Wike is a corrupt politician but his government has benefited people more than the previous governments in the state. I disagree with some of the projects and the cost implications, but you cannot deny that these projects were done and are benefiting the people. Criticise Wike all you want but he is a better governor than most governors in Nigeria as at today.

What a wicked man. He couldn't do the basic like renovating schools and in education generally or paying salaries or even rural healthcare, and he's busy building luxury projects like judges quarters and overhead bridges(not flyovers) that has done little to ease congestion. Now he's bought over the judiciary so they don't expose him when he steps down. Nothing much for the poor and the masses. One good thing is that he finished all of Amaechi's projects except the monorail. Please investing in education and in the youth, pay salaries, give promotions in the civil service, and people would be better off than building overhead bridges.

Wike can only lead in Rivers State. His character and uncharitable lack of diplomacy in dealing with his other political colleagues shows he can never be a Nigerian leader. He's immature in politics and he can't go far. He's arrogant, lack of respect and talk with his mouth unchecked. Rivers State only is part of Nigeria and Rivers IS NOT NIGERIA. Wike bought most delegates in PDP to win 2nd position in PDP presidential primary. Just like other contestants like Atiku, Saraki, etc influenced few delegates. Wike won't be able to buy all PDP members in those states he won their delegates. If Wike is so unhappy that he lost PDP Primary election, let him leave PDP and join another party like APC, Labour or SDP Party. Wike's activities in PDP now is like destroying the house he has joined other PDP members to build. When his party PDP is destroyed, let's see if he can contest and win successfully the next 2027 presidential election. Wike's behaviour that without him, PDP will loose election is selfish and arrogant. While Wike may be right in Fulanisation of PDP by Atiku, Ayu and other Northern PDP leaders, that only should not make Wike to continue attacking all other individuals in PDP personally. Wike attached Peter Obi when the later joined Labour Party, attacked Gov Obaseki due to Edo State PDP crisis, attacked those he called "Atiku attack Dogs", attached Tambuwal etc as if PDP is Wike's personal property. Why can't Wike, a supposed future Nigeria President can't keep his temper and mouth under check?
