If you use nonstick 3d gel for your charms they stick better and there isn't glue dripping everywhere and flooding your nails, potentially causing more shrinking

Funnily enough, I don't think I've ever had a tip shrink from multiple layers of gel polish 🤔 which is weird bc I've tried many types of tips from different brands. The only time I've had a set shrink was the one time I messed around with polygel (and had no idea wtf I was doing) 😂

That is exactly what I do. I used to start orders before payment, but too many people screwed me over and ended up not paying me after I finished the order. I do have 2 customers that I trust to pay me, so I'll start their orders early. Everyone else? Payment upfront before I even sit down in my chair.

What do you mean by - you ran out of time? Isn't the video allowed to be as long as you want? I don't make videos so I honestly don't know... Are you only allowed certain time slots? Like a 30 min and next choice is 40 min etc.. I'm confused... 🤔 You said something at the beginning, about leaving the mistakes in so you had enough video to answer questions, and if you were meaning that's why you were out of time - I personally would continue to watch you clean up the mess and put away the supplies just to hear the answers and more questions. I mean show pictures on the screen of previous sets, or coming soon, or your dogs, anything... I'd rather hear the full answer, rather than have you so rushed you don't say all you want or can about the question. And if there was just 1 or 2 more questions asked, I'd rather look at pictures for the last few min, than not get them at all. That's just my opinion on it, but I have a feeling, your fans would agree... I see them saying all the time, that they just can't get enough of you, so I don't think a few min of clean up at the end, so you could fully finish answering the question, would bother anyone... 😊

I meant I ran out of footage 😅 usually my videos are 15-30 minutes long but I slowed this one down to have more time to answer questions but any remaining questions or things I didnt say will be answered on my next video 🥰

Oh... Almost forgot, that most expensive set you showed... OMG !! SO FLIPPEN PRETTY !! Actually both sets that were shown !! Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous !! And I almost feel like $120. Wasn't enough, because those stones would had to of cost big bucks and the cost of press ons is more than in salon. As you include a prep kit, all the packaging and card stock, and for some postage... So that's more than we include with salon nails, and the salon would have charged huge money, for that set. Especially depending on who the tech was - Cardi Bs girl, would have been $500. easy... But they is damn pretty... 😊

@@Nailsslayedbyval Well then, stop doing that !! 😉 Your only hurting yourself, when you do that.. Well, and your home, family and life style. Have you ever gone through the cost of everything to find out what a set costs? I mean Everything !!, that includes all products, most only think of the big ones, tips, polish, art supplies etc and forget about the many little things you use, that add up (inc. nail wipes, files, alcohol etc). Then we need to include everything it takes to run this buss. and actually make the nails. Things like : buss. supplies (buss. cards, nail cards, envelopes, ink, etc.) + any freebies you put in (stickers, confetti, prep kit, tissue paper, candy etc) + utilities (heat, power, rent, internet etc) + you have to pay back the debt of your equipment (desk, lights, lamps, efiles, brushes, stands, etc) + your time (making the set, research, communication with client, making video, posting on social media etc) and you must charge for your time. Most people think you add this only after you are making profit, and no - you must include a wage now, how else do you up your prices 20. per hour a year later later. (add your hr price) You are an employee! You need to figure out all of that, and that becomes the base price, anything below that amount is bankruptcy. You now take that amount and add a profit onto it, as you need to make money, that's what a business does. So you can stay in business... Once you've figured it all out, I bet you'll never under charge again... I have a degree in Business and Marketing, and I say this to you as help, as at the end of the day, it's your business and you do as you like, but so many techs go bankrupt during their first few years and don't understand why. The best advice I can give you is - Know your worth, and charge your worth. 😊
