Trent Alexander-Arnold is an English professional footballer who plays as a right-back or midfielder for Premier League club Liverpool and the England national team.
Everyone said Trent’s too bad but why his rating that analyze by super computer gave his performance rating more than 2 natural midfield? He create 5 chances in this game that is the most in team. LOL
And it's always the Black player that's always been strange to me . They making sonmuch excuse for Rice and disses Belllingham before that it was Saka and Rashford the full Black trio . Soughtgate has learned from Steve bruce how to keep that contract .
Players like him need to let out a few stinker balls before they fine tune themselves for the perfect eye of the needle threw ball. But he looked too nervous to take the necessary risks. Understandably so, if you lose the ball in the middle of the park, you pay a harsher price than if you do it in the corridors. You can see Foden, Saka and Bellingham getting frustrated with him on different occasions, because he was playing too safe. He should've tried the ball he played at 1:31 much more often. He clearly got told this during halftime, and tried to take more risks, and almost payed the prize (got lucky to get that foul vs Hojberg)
The team should play higher velocity, greater pressing and more attacking football, whichever players get the nod. Score, and then go nuts to get a second, then third. Have a go at that, not Trent!
because he is lazy, off the ball work is terrible, he walks around ar 0.5x speed. he gave away many cheap misspasses as well, his movement is sluggish, he looks uncomfortable in double pivot role and doesn't get enough width to ping in his crosses.
@@anabhidnya26he gave away 5 passes. out of 40. meanwhile he created 3 chances and used almost 90% of his touches to help england not only keep the ball, but go forward with it. rice and jude couldnt complete pass or carry the ball 5 feet last night. where are the people calling for them to get benched?
@@sitaylor Yes on the paper it is. However, many players' positions change as they evolve. Stones many times now play as Midfielder by Pep. Actually a player should possess many attributes not just one straight Attacking or Defending. If you are this straight, opponents can easily predict and counter you. Kimmich of Germany is also a midfield and is used as right back. Because they want his crossing balls ability for the flank and into the box.
@@channarenhuoy Stones never starts in midfield for City. He plays as a Libero from centre back and moves up into the centre mid position when possession is established. The role is very much the same as the Inverting full back role in that the defender doesn't set the initial transition like a CM does, they just join the midfield when possession is held. Both of these roles are different Worlds from a regular CM role with VASTLY different responsibilities and require completely different abilities/habits. Kimmich is able to play CM & FB, but he has learnt the CM role in training/at club level rather than being thrown into the role on the International stage at a major tournament. Also, Kimmich has the ability to learn & play these two roles; that doesn't mean that any other play can, no matter how good they are in their primary role.
@@sitaylor I went to check Champions League Final vs Inter, and it shows Stones along Rodri. The actual play might be a bit different however the concept is the same. He intended Stones as Midfield. I am not well-versed in terminology, however the essence of it is that He used midfield with attributes of a defender. What you are describing of Trent that he's not a traditional CM or CDM, I am not saying I disagree. I just want to point out that if you use Natural Midfielder, it will gives off one vibe. But if he uses Trent, it will gives another. It might be good or bad, But England hasn't lost a game yet and Gareth changed him to have more control of the game. I am not English or British but I cheer for England more than a decade. So let's Gareth do his job. As he has given interview that he might go if England doesn't win this Euro.
@@channarenhuoy The 'vibe' it's giving off for Trent is that he has no clue what he's doing in centre mid because he hasn't played the role for seven years. It was inevitable.
@@TechNology-hr7gt no Liverpool fan will say Mainoo deserves his place over Harvey or Curtis. Claim someone is quality, hype him up with the help of pro Man U media, he ends up mediocre, we have seen that happening over and over again with Man U "talent". I remain skeptical until he proves his potential, and it is way too early to use the q word on him..
If it was a passing or free kick competition hed do well. In a match he cant defend, doesnt know where he should be, makes bad decisions with the ball.
@@robertlongshaft3366he creates the most chances and kept pushing the ball up the field. rice and jude gave the ball away much more last night and didnt carry the ball forward the way they usually do; what does it say that they havent completely outclassed mr “not a natural midfielder” in these first two games?
