just back from bedside sitting with my 98 year old Welshman Grandfather, Art Morris, as he crossed over to be with Jesus. I played him many of the Welsh Hymns he loved. His passing was peaceful, but fierce because we do not go gentle. He would have been 99 in May. A WWII vet and a wonderful great-grandfather to my kids as well. to have had such a man worth loving for 55 years as a Grand-dad is such a blessing. I played this song for him a few years back when visiting at his home. He swelled with the power of the voices. Now he joins my Welsh Gran... they were married 74 years and together 76. And may they both play their roles in the Cloud of Witnesses, and the Church Triumphant well. Amen
@@gerhardg5186 thank you Gerhard. So glad he was able to get onward to Heaven before all this CCP Virus mess. Gramp helped liberate China from Imperial Japan... least they could do was leave him out of it💖
As I grow older the more I appreciate my Welsh heritage. I can still picture my father singing along with these great choirs as he listened to them on cd and air conducting. They are so emotionally charged.
Imagine now angels and milions of man and women from all the ages and places singing with with voices that can't stay in their lungs as stripped out in exaltation by the majestic glory of the Lord. The only thing that you can do is to sing cause of the enthralment for His Holy Radiance, and it gives you sathisfacion and joy beyond comprehension in our human condition.

Lovely. Thank you Wales. Although I was born there it is a distant memory for me now but this wonderful Choir brings back happy memories of my childhood in South Wales.
In October 2018, the Northampton Male Voice Choir joined with the Australian Welsh Choir in concert in Northampton with guest Ayse Goknur Shanal. What a fantastic night it was.
Wonderful! I am of Welsh ancestry. My great-grandfather was born in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales in 1847 and came to the United States in 1866 at the age of 19. He eventually found his way to Lansford, Pennsylvania and he is buried in Summit Hill, Pa. I was told he loved to sing (never heard him or for that matter ever met him as well), as did his son (my grandfather) who I heard sing many times, as did his son (my father) who I heard sing many times as well, as do I, who sounds pretty good in the shower.
My grandfather, William G. Evans, was a miner from Wales, fought in the Boer war, and came to Coaldale, PA. He, along with my grandmother, were buried in Summit Hill (GAR), Pa.
Tenho CD deste coral, mas no Brasil talvez seja difícil achar. Tem para importar, no site da Amazon, etc. No Reino Unido é tradição....coral masculino. Em outros países, também. Por aqui...começa a melhorar, neste aspecto.
@@edmundoferreira-rocha7400 nao...nunca morei la. Visitei rapidamente Londres em 2011. Disse sobre a tradicao pq havia encontro de coros masculinos ate no Royal Albert Hall. Tenho CD deste evento.

@@JohnPanto People who have no love of God or music in their souls. I can't wait to get to heaven and join in with the choirs singing there. I'm sure they will sound just the same. Long live the Land of Song.

Great singing by the Cymru who know how to sing. Nevermore will they crawl out of those horrible coalmines to feed the rich Englishmen their profits. Cymru gu breach.
I agree with yor sentiments bit; Crawling out of those horrible coal-mines gave them a good standard of living which has now been taken away from them. The Conservatives put child labour down the mines and they removed thier ancestors pride, driving them into poverty and desperation on a massive scale
