I don't think it matters if these are "officials" or not, if a mob of people come to your property in such an unprofessional capacity, without law enforcement serving a warrant signed by a judge, and try to physically break in or intimidate and threaten you, then they are criminal trespassers and should be treated as such. With such behaviour (especially revealing they are also stalking you online) they are clearly not acting within rational, civilized and legal constraints.

I want to know their names. I want to know their faces. I want to know what bars they go to, what churches they attend and what gives them the right to surround a solo woman in the woods stayin in a summer cabin. This is your partner's property.... legally yes? Why didn't call him on the phone before walking onto his property? They absolutely should not have laid hands on the structure and tried to open it with you inside. I'm never putting my off grid life on the internet.

Ally, thank you for the update. I've already watched Kyle's update video too. I think I can speak for most if not all of us who watch your videos when I say that neither you or Kyle have ever given us any reason to think that you are mean spirited, disingenuous or inauthentic . It's truly awful what you both have been through but I'm glad it's been decided to not sell at least. Keep your chins up even though I know it's so hard sometimes. Oh Allie you can tell that this is still very emotional for you. Not only with them showing up unannounced but having them say they watch your videos, is not only creeping but makes it worse that they chose to confront you when Kyle wasnt there. You have to put up trail cams to catch license plates and also many pointing in all direction toward and away from your house. The best 4K you can find to identify people, vehicles, and license plates to turn into the authorities.

SO... youtube is definitely pushing your content out there for ya......... maybe the town doesn't want any attention onto the region due to corruption? Or some other nefarious government crap? Have you tried getting any advice from Doug & Stacy? Let the homesteaders network know what's going on. The support from your fellow citizens could potentially reshape regulatory laws that infrindge on constititional rights to own land, and cultivate the land in accordance to GODS will. If you guys are not crapping all over the woods and having fecal matter going into the local streams, then what's the issue? I know entire communities that function off the good old reliable OUTHOUSE technology that this country was founded upon. You got a steam, you can haul water... you can catch it... what's it their business? They don't send townsfolk after off grid cabin stayers in Alaska... what's going on politically with this town? I got so many questions now. Where is this town? They are stalking you on your channel too? Seeing when you're alone there? That's not right. That's predatory.

Just a couple words of advice/wisdom. Don’t tell anybody that you do or don’t own a firearm. It’s NOBODYS business! Also if you are not living full time and complying with all of your jurisdictional law you owe no explanation. If they feel the need to settle it in court then that’s what they should do and you will win. Then you counter sue and win. Lastly FILM everything. If another encounter occurs FILM. The more evidence for you the better. I would be putting surveillance up even if only trail cams are feasible. And a dog never hurts! Good luck and live your life and don’t let others get in your way.

I watch both you and Kyle’s videos and know that you don’t live their full time. Anyone else watching the videos would know your primary home was the apartment and as of this year the A frame. Ally, I know the north and south can be very different, but in the county if it’s the “town” people coming to you, surely as remote as you are you are not in the town limits, so they have ZERO input in your camp. The county/ parish/or what ever it may be would be the ones with input, but even then they cannot trespass. Good that you put the chain up!!! Maybe a deer camera strapped to a tree at the driveway may help also. Just a thought. I don’t want you or Kyle to give up the camp, it’s too magical!!

Oh honey. We've been following both your channels for a while. These people remind me of busy body HOA types with nothing better to do than be huge pains in the ass. I grew up off grid in Alaska and I remember my grandparents dealing with grumpy sorts like this too. Keep strong. We love you.

My HOA gang stalked me because I live right across the street from the office and started doing things in 2015 to try to get me late in my HOA payments after my shoulder surgery but they didn't realize I'm on top of my stuff and then it just became surreal horrible for a few years especially after my spinal fusion and a crazy neighbor and then the police telling me to make myself scarce until that lady moved because she was dangerous and all after my spinal fusion so I almost lost the ability to walk and I still own my condo and I'm about to engage in taking them to court finally in 2024 for some things that they did in 2023 but also for the Discrimination all along it's going to be in three different lawsuits and it's coming😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 tough times don't last but tough people do an educate yourselves and be proactive for your rights because nobody else will

Hope it all works out for you. We are only seeing your side of the story, but the land and all the work you've done has been such an admirable pleasure to watch. Thank you for sharing it. I also live in the northern part of the country, but on the opposite side. We have beautiful woods and natural settings similar to your area. Sounds like our laws for building also apply there. We must include building permits to include a well and septic system for a structural home. Imagine if everyone who wanted to, built a beautiful cabin in the woods. What would they do with their human and environmental waste? Where would they be harvesting water and dumping their grey water? Risking the local environment with these impacts may be the reason for the disapproval of your neighbors and town. However, if they are really harassing you in the manner you describe, there is no excuse for their nasty behavior. Surely, they can act like adults and be open to working out some sort of agreement or compromise in your situation. Best wishes and Happy Holidays!

You dont need septic or electricity if your off grid? Septic tanks are worse, as they pump this into our waterways and oceans. Composting and incinerating is way better for the environment. Animals do it, so should we. The laws are made to keep us enslaved so that we have to PAY to live on this beautiful place called earth, that was given to us for FREE. please dont get caught up on laws that do not serve mankind. This is a wake up call for us to free ourselves & do better for the environment away from the systems currently in place.

The cabin has been there for years, long before Kyle bought it. He was working on the property for the former owner when he was 14. They don’t live there full time which they were accused of doing because some officials watched some RU-vid videos. Sorry but that’s not evidence and is only a fraction of their life. Their full time life is at their A frame not their off grid cabin.

Trail cams. You should think about a camera over both doors that record when the door opens and cuts off when it is shut. Since you have no trespassing signs up, they can be hidden.

From what I understand about the septic codes, first step is , if you are within 500 feet of water, you must first get a soil/erosion analysis. This also includes checking for run-off from access roads, which could contaminate fish spawning habitat. If you pass that, then you can get a building permit, which would also include an inspection on the septic system, which may require professional , licensed install . I'm sure your outhouse probably is far away from the creek, which is common sense. The issue with that may be the "grey area" of you living there full time or not. I think also you had mentioned the windows, which I think are a fire code issue. Did they think you weren't home, aggressively jiggling the door? Was your car parked in front? That is really scary , anyone with half a brain would at least beep their horn or call out when entering the property to avoid being shot. Having your tax ID number and address , they probably have your phone number also. WTF! I would call the Sherrif, not the cops , and explain that you have reached out to them but have heard nothing back yet. Spooky. Get that on record NOW.

Being a lady who also spends time alone in nature, I sometimes carry a pew pew ;) after taking the safety class and getting a permit, I feel confident about using it only in the right times. You may look into this as well.

Ally, I'm so sorry you went through this. So these people are mailing you documents AT YOUR HOME ADDRESS (different from the camp), while claiming that you live at the camp full time. I think these people haven't got a legal leg to stand on.

Hello Ally I just watched this video and wish to thank you for your update👍 Ally I’ve been in this world a long time, while I have seen, heard and basically have run across so many different types of people. I myself am a very passive individual and try to see the best in everyone but there are a type of people you cannot escape simply due to the fact that these types are called “busybodies”. These type of people possess the following credentials and they are, nosey, love gossip, absolutely hate when someone else has attention they don’t get, don’t like seeing anyone moving up above them, especially 2 great people such as you and Kyle. Ally you can’t change these type. As I said they work very hard to be this way. I wouldn’t say it’s a class of people because I do not give being a busybody recognition of having class. Unfortunately politics hold many in this breed and they are blowing smoke. You both have done and continue to offer so much light and gifts to a world no longer making sense in peace and love and tranquility. Keep up the good work. Love both your videos and I have spread your channels out there to my friends and loved ones. Thank you so much and please never stop❤

Doesn’t matter how comfortable you are. Always lock your doors. And you shouldn’t have even answered the door for these people. You should’ve just called the cops. Edit: In regard to using a firearm, you are absolutely right. If they weren’t a deadly threat and you used/brandished it (even though they were trespassing), you probably would’ve been charged with murder/aggravated assault. You are also right in that if you aren’t ready to take a life, don’t get a firearm. They are meant to cause great bodily harm, not to be used as a warning. They also take a good amount of training to be proficient with (especially pistols, which are most likely what you’d purchase).

I have 3 other channels I watch in which this year, 2023, trespassers accessed property. Two of the channels have it on video because of trail cameras. The most famous occurred a few years back, Shawn James/Self Reliance.

I hope these ‘officials’ have the backbone to contact you and apologize for their unorthodox approach to you at the cabin this summer knowing that you were alone there without Kyle. I also hope they contact Kyle as the owner, with you as his partner, to constructively discuss their concerns, so this issue can be concluded affably. No one should be threatened this way at their off grid camp. So glad you both are ok.

Get some Spartan hunting cams - they run on their own wifi and batteries. That way you can monitor the property when you’re away and document future trespassing, to use in court.
