I found the gael through the last of the mohicans. Sadly, most people do not make the effort to look for the original song and just refer to it as 'the last of the Mohicans song'. And even more sadly, as the laws of youtube dictate you need to appeal to the masses.

The soundtrack wasn't eligible because another composer had to be brought in to do some of it because of time constraints and production problems. It bloody deserves an oscar though. My favourite movie soundtrack

É uma pena que concerto desse nível ficou no passado, essa orquestra de Trevor Jones é uma das melhores do mundo, deveria existir uma maneira de resgatar essa qualidade para o nosso tempo.

I got chill bumps. I thought that note is so high and then it gets even higher. Incredible musicians. Dedicated to best friend and my brother who both died the same day and leap year. 20 years apart. My brother was murdered so this music has been running rampant in my brain because i am in shock. My girlfriend loved this movie. Love you Robin. You are riding horses in heaven. 2/29/2024. And Ted 2/29/2004. RIP 🙏 OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE
